The need to replace a roof can be a nightmare and we were nervous about getting it done and getting it done right. DBS met all of our expectations and then some. Dan, the owner of the company, stands by his work and takes pride in his workmanship. He's patient, knowledgeable and professional. He listens to your concerns and makes them his own. He stands by his work and when he's done you can feel comfortable in the fact that the job was done right. He's on the sight, not just as an overseer, but with hammer in hand. You don't have to worry about hiring Dan one day and seeing a group of strangers the next, to do the work. Highly recommended. This is not the last project Dan will be doing for us.

Dan and his crew recently remodeled an upstairs laundry and closet in our older home into a beautiful master bath with a custom tile shower. Throughout the entire process, Dan was great to work with. He was timely, honest and up-front with estimates and unknown costs that could spring up, helpful in his recommendations for quirks with our old house, and just generally very knowledgeable and helpful. The work that he and his crew did was just beautiful--the attention to detail at every step of the process was great, and we could not be happier with the finished result. Dan and his crew were also very friendly and respectful of my family, and courteous in our home, as well as taking care to keep our home as clean as possible. We would choose DBS again in a heartbeat for any future projects.

Dan and Matt and Matt were fantastic. I used DBS for two major projects, installation of a new front door with custom new transom design/build and they just completed major deck repairs that saved my deck from collapsing...looks like he over-built the repairs! Deck is now as solid as can be. Dan and his team are great, smart, dedicated professionals. I'm looking for another project for these guys! The best quality and very reasonable costs.

I would rate Dan on a scale of 1-5 a 6. He is phenomenal. Dan was easy to work with and very responsive to my calls and requests. He has the greatest demeanor and is will to listen and work with the customer. He did masonry work on my foundation (patching and painting), redid my garage floor that now looks fantastic, cleaned out my gutters which were beyond horrible. His prices were very reasonable and he stuck to the quotes he gave me. His work is beyond phenomenal! I would use him again and I highly recommend his work. Wow is all I can say.

Dan and his crew completed a master bath and master bedroom remodel. We really appreciated the attention to detail that was provided along with a fair price. DBS completed the job on time in a professional manner. We highly recommend DBS.

We have been very skeptical about hiring a contractor due to previous issues we've had with others. Dan & his workers were clean professional and easy to work with. Dan is easy going and listened to what we wanted and followed through each step of the way to make sure we were happy. Our bathroom turned out beautifully and he just did our roof. After the winter he will be doing more work for us. Our confidence in contractors was and is restored with Dan.

I used DBS for a siding project. They were courteous, professional, clean & trustworthy. The job was spot on, and completed ahead of schedule. I will definitely be using dbs for all of my home repairs & re-builds from now on.

We first used Dan to remodel a bathroom in Spring of 2012. He showed up on time for the estimate, was very easy to talk to and equally easy to work with. We were happy to see that through the entire job, none of that changed. He stayed in touch with us at all times, guided us through decision making and showed up promptly every time. The quality of his work is top notch - he does not cut corners and always does high quality work. The bathroom is exactly the way we wanted it and we get nothing but positive reviews from our friends and family when they see it. Dan has done several other jobs for us and our other family members (ceiling repair, toilet installations, fence repair and more) and they are also very pleased with his work. He takes on every job – big or small – with commitment, responsibility and perfection. We have many other home improvements we plan to have Dan do and we know we can rest easy that we found a reliable high quality person to do them.

Dan and Troy installed a floor in our basement and did a fantastic job. They focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Several days after the basement flooring job was finished we called Dan to ask him for help with a leak from a vent pipe in our roof. He came to the house almost immediately and fixed the leak.

Since then he did another job for us that involved repairing fascia boards. We are continually amazed (and pleased) by his caring attitude and desire to make certain the customer is satisfied. Soon he will be gutting (to the studs) and completely replacing an entire bathroom for us. We are confident there will be many more jobs after this.

There really is no job that is too big or too small for him to accomplish. We are very pleased with DBS and have already recommended Dan to many of our friends. The price is reasonable, the quality is exceptional and the focus on customer satisfaction is refreshing.
