My experience working with DC Custom Construction has been great. He is respectful, knowledgabe, timely, and has people skills. The curb cut to the approach to a driveway looks fantastic.

The actual concrete sidewalk work went well and I am pleased with the results. The only problem was that DC Custom Construction owner David Chartier, who usually works in
the Gresham, Estacada SE Portland Suburbs, was unfamiliar with the permit process for PDOT. This caused a delay in getting the project started, some duplication of fees, and more involvement on my part. Now he knows the many restrictions required for sidewalk replacement on a corner lot in the Lloyd Center area on a one-way street with a bike lane and a bus stop. Other neighbors were impressed with his work and interested in hiring his firm for future projects. He was also pleasant to to work with during the project.Overall, I would rate the experience as 4.5 if that were an option, and I would hire him again.

Dave extended our driveway so we would have a dedicated space to park our trailer. He accomplished the project beyond my expectations. He was easy to reach by phone and text and accommodating when we had specific requests.
