When I contacted Joe of De Marco Builders for a quote on new siding for the house he answered all my questions and concerns and presented me with a timeline for start and finish for the job. He began the job on time and completed the job as scheduled. He and his crew did an excellent job and I am thankful for both the quality of the work and the timeliness. I have even received many compliments from the neighbors on how nice Joe's work looks and the quality as well.
After the success of the first job, I decided to have him install new windows throughout the house. He did an outstanding job. I was particularly impressed that Joe took extra time to add detailed trim around the windows. Not only does the house look better, but it's much quieter inside and warmer in the winter. I certainly plan to call him again for other jobs I'd like to have done.
Over the course of these two projects, several of my neighbors have contacted De Marco Builders for work. I would happily recommend De Marco Builders and I'd like to thank Joe for his excellent work and courtesy.

I’ve worked with Joe DeMarco as an architect on many of his projects in the past 10 years. He has excellent vision for good designs, endless creative ideas, and a great capability of delivering the best products under budget and on schedule.
In 2004, DeMarco Builders completed my home addition (approx. 1,010 SF) and remodeled the entire existing house. The entire kitchen was gutted, enlarged, and redone with new cabinets, counters, with all new kitchen appliances. The addition consisted of the master suite, the laundry room, enlarging the kitchen and living room. New smooth finished stucco with integral color, new roofing, and new windows with all new craftsman styled wood trims. The job was executed and completed beautifully on schedule and under budget. The high-end results are proofs that the work was well planned and executed with precisions and attention to details.

Spring of 2015 we moved into a rental home we've owned for several years & started doing some cleanup & renovation work on it. While trying to figure out how to do the bathroom, our daughter had talked to Joe De Marco about our dilemma. Joe contacted us & arranged to come see what we had in mind.
We've known Joe De Marco for many years & are familiar with the fantastic workmanship he & his crew have produced.
Joe gave us some suggestions and directed us towards examining some Travertine tile with the thought of using them around the tub enclosure and the floor. Joe helped us envision the end results, hence we HIRED him to do the project for us. Our project was just a drop in the bucket in comparison to previous jobs he has accomplished for other folks, but whether it’s a large or small job, Joe treats each with just the same professionalism. We’d proudly recommend Joe De Marco & his team for ANY reconstruction / remodel projects.
His attention to perfection & willingness to be open & fair in every aspect from beginning to end was like a breath of fresh air. We could not be more pleased with the end results.

What can I say other than Joe and his crew have given my family the most amazing experience from start to finish. From day one Joe was very professional, upfront, and super communicative. Joe and his team not only were able to beat the quotes of competitors, but blow them away in time frame!!! All other companies quoted at least 4-6 weeks, Joe and his team finished in 9 days and the results were better than I ever could have imagined. If you’re looking for someone that is fair, honest, and great at what they do look no further, Joe and his team will treat you and your home with the utmost respect that you will rave about for years to come!!!!

DeMarco Builders added on 700 SF of beautiful living space onto my home in 2005. The project included a master bedroom and bath; a guest bathroom; a powder room; a dog room; and a covered deck. It's been +11 years and we are still thrilled with the results. The design and the construction took a little longer than anticipated, but the end result was entirely worth it! The attention to details was what caused most of the delays, but Joe wanted to make sure that he was happy and that we would be happy too. I still look at the detail in the construction and I'm still happy. The construction and the design has lasted the test of time and day-to-day terror of my dogs. Joe is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. It's best to know exactly what you want, but if you don't, Joe can provide great ideas....He's been doing this for a while.

I had previously used DeMarco Builders for an addition/remodel to my home in 2004. When I wanted to remodel my kitchen I called them first. Joe DeMarco and his crew do excellent work and always keep the client's wishes (and budget) in mind. I had an idea of what I wanted but the space is very small, only 7'x12' wall to wall. Joe was able to design a layout that maximized the space I had, and as the project was ongoing, make suggestions that further enhanced the design. My house was built in 1949 and the kitchen had very little storage or counter space. My new kitchen design has tripled the counter and storage available. As with my previous experience with DeMarco Builders I am thrilled with the finished project. The work was done on time, on budget, and in a professional manner.

The best thing we ever did was to hire De Marco Builders to remodel our kitchen and add bamboo hardwood flooring in our newly purchased 1982 condo in NW Portland.This was a downsize for us and most likely the last home we will ever purchase.
This should have been an easy job, but there was some surprising structural problems we inherited.
De Marco Builders wasn't fazed a bit! Joe and his amazing crew jumped right in to make our kitchen perfect!
They worked long into the night to make sure we could move in on time. The whole job took less than 10 days.
Joe has great instincts on design and was a huge help to us when we were having trouble deciding which cabinets, counter tops, backsplash and flooring would be right. He has a lot of experience and knows what works and what doesn't work. He was very honest with his opinions, which, I appreciated very much.
It was important to Joe that everything was perfect for us. He seriously took our happiness to heart in every aspect of the remodel.
Joe De Marco was always available and stayed in constant contact with us.
Our kitchen is beautiful and our hardwood floors are solid and stunning!! We couldn't be more thrilled!!
Even though our job is finished, we plan to stay in touch with Joe. He's that kind of guy!!
