We hired Dean Stout to build our house for us and we are very happy with the results. We had several changes to the house throughout the build and Dean met them all with no problem. Also there were a few minor issues that came up and he was quick to respond, he fixed everything quickly. We are totally happy and glad to recommend him to anyone. Thanks again Mr. Dean Stout. My husband had Dean Stout build his dad and him build a Lake homes. It turned out wonderful just what they wanted. Dean was so nice and always available. Would recommend all day long.

We hired Dean Stout to build our home and it has been a horrible experience. He told us it should only take about 6 months to build the house - it has been over 9 months since we poured our slab and we still have not moved in. He has mismanaged every aspect of the job - nothing, and I mean nothing, has gone right. My husband has had to do all of the quality control on the job. Dean has never been around to catch any issues or fix anything on his own without my husband pointing them out to him. Walls and windows have been framed up crooked, plumbing was not done correctly, his drywall sub did a horrible job and we have had a huge hole in the stucco on the front of our house for 4 months that still has not been fixed. I would never, ever recommend him for anything. He has made our first home building experience a nightmare.
Response from Dean Stout Building LLC September 1, 2017Ball face liars they don't put in what I did for them at all, one is that in the middle of the project they changed their home from Electric to gas it took 2 months to locate gas way out in the country after we located a supply line we had to order gas equipment this is what held a lot of the project up besides bad weather. Second of all the quality was excellent. After feeling bad for them we gave up$2,500 of our Builders fee and gave back to them these are things people like this do not mention

I honestly cant even give this man a 1 star. He has done a horrible job managing money, staying on the time line that was promised. As said up top in a previous review were also told 6 months and are now almost to 11 and still not moved in. Has yet to pay company for materials, and they are putting a lean on the house! Do not please please please do not use this builder. He is a shadey person who will scam you.
