Working with Debrecht Homes was an awful experience. The majority of the work on my stone patio was subcontracted. The subcontractor did not finish the job on schedule and was extremely difficult to work with. My driveway was damaged by them placing a huge dumpster on it to haul away the old cement and I had to pursue compensation from the insurance company. I had lights installed under the patio wall, 3 of which went out within a year. Since Mr Debrecht did not choose to repair or refund, I filed a small claim. Because there was uncertainty whether the lites were faulty or faultily installed, I was not compensated. The cost for the lights was $900 and now are useless as the wiring is integrated into the stone. Extremely poor workmanship and total lack of accountability. Who installs lights that you can’t get to to repair? Beware. These were once friends and now I will share my story with anyone looking for a builder.
