My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with Denis and our new deck. He was professional, organized and thorough. He explained the process to us, showed up when he said he would and did extra touches to accentuate our personal tastes. I will use Denis for another decking project I have. He definitely earns a 5 star.

Stay away from him! Denis Richardson will sweet talk you into thinking he will build the best deck on earth but he just wants your money. We signed a contract in March 2018, as of Nov 2018 all he has done is take out our old deck leaving an unsafe yard for my dogs and more excuses than I can count as to why he hasn't started. There have been no permits pulled to even start building anything. So he took our money with no plans to return to do any work at all. He has done this to several people this year just google him. He is nothing but a thief and liar. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY

The project -
A ~450 sq. Ft deck to be completely gutted down, and re-framed and decked using Trex. The new deck would be close to ~650 sq. ft., with a grill area and nice border feature to pop up the tree.
Planning -
Denis working very closely with me on selecting the color, type and railing patterns / material - I used several of his suggestion and introduced some of my needed to get the deck plan finalized.
Execution -
Denis had the entire execution broken down by demolition, foundation, framing - quickly getting the deck ready for laying the Trex. He carefully laid the Trex ensuring there was no scratch on the pcs, and maximization use of a continuous piece. Even the railings, posts and the stairs were carefully placed.
Overall Denis showcased his extreme craftsmanship skills, from basic framing / leveling and squareness to detailing, finishing and providing complete customer satisfaction. He assisted me with my lighting project as well, to get a really picture perfect deck.
Would definitely recommend Denis in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a new, improvised and a lifelong deck - he has the skills, dedication, craftsmanship, and patience to get it right as per customers choice.
