    New construction

    Deco Development built our dream house from ground-up, and we had such a wonderful experience.

    Ken, the owner of Deco Development is very experienced and easy to work with.
    * Ken deeply understands the construction process. He guided us applying the city and utility permits. He helped us find better price for materials.
    * Ken is very detail oriented. From framing to installing the undercabinet lights, he pays attention to every detail. He has a fantastic crew of people who do high the quality work.
    * Ken has great design aesthetic. We did not hire interior designer. He helped us in choosing all the materials. Our house looks beautiful.
    * Ken finished our house on time at the price in the quote. There is no hidden cost.

    We are so thankful hiring Ken to build our house. We highly recommend Deco Development.

    I highly recommend Deco Development.
    I hired them to build my new home. I am so happy with the workmanship and the fact they finished it on time at the same price that was giving originally.
    Ken the owner was very experienced and easy to work with. He guided me every step of the way from design process to city permit approval and utility applications. He also helped me in choosing my materials and I did not have to hire any interior designer.
    I love my new home and everything is exactly the way I imagine and Ken did a great job in the whole process.

    I am so thankful hiring Deco Development to build my new home.
    After interviewing few different contractors, I was very nervous how to choose the right one, specially hearing all horrible stories about some other contractors out there. Finally a co-worker recommended Ken from Deco Development. Once I spoke with Ken, I felt he is very honest & experienced. He mad me feel safe and handled all the details. He did great job building my home , beyond my expectations. He didn’t seem money hungry like most other contractor I experienced in past. I totally recommend him.

    Brand New custom home

    I am very grateful and happy that I used Deco Development to build my dream home. My wife & I was about to hire another large construction company, however I was recommended by a co-worker to give Ken from Deco Development a call and get a quote.
    After meeting with Ken and seeing his projects and how clean and professional he works, I was very impressed and I ended up hiring Ken to build our dream home, which was one of the best decisions I made.
    I am so happy with his workmanship, his special attention to details, he also has a great taste in design and picking finish items. He told me not to hire interior designer and saved me few thousand dollars, instead used Ken's suggestions in picking materials which turn out so beautiful .
    I recommend this guy and his company. He only focus on New construction or major jobs which is good, many contractors I talked to they were more like re-modelers doing new construction which I realized they are two different categories and new construction requires lots of experience. I am glad that he showed me many new homes he had finished so I was able to see his work. many other guys only done few works, but this guy has build many brand new homes which gave me a piece of mind. Great job Ken, we love our new home.

    Custom Build

    Ken Chitgar and Deco Development are phenomenal. We worked with Ken to build our custom home and it was the best decision we made in the entire process. The MOST important decision you will make in this process is selecting your GC. Pick a bad one and it will be miserable. However, if you are lucky to work with Ken, it will be one of the best experiences of your life.

    Ken is great for the following reasons:
    1) He is extremely knowledgeable and deeply understands the construction process. Every single time we had to make a decision, we relied on Ken's judgment and we never regretted it. In fact, the few occasions when we didn't listen to him, we did regret it. Ken sweats the details so you don't have to worry about it.
    2) He has a fantastic crew of people who do high quality work.
    3) He is fast! The whole project was completed in 12 months and exactly on time
    4) He has a great design aesthetic. We didn't need to hire an interior designer because Ken served in that role for us
    5) He is easy to work with. He takes pride in his work and he won't nickel and dime you through the process.

    Thank you Ken for your fantastic work. You were the best partner we could have hoped for.

    Deco Development built our dream home from ground-up, and we had a wonderful experience.

    You've probably heard that contractors vary in quality. The "bad" ones cut corners and try to squeeze extra money out of you whenever possible. The "good" ones do quality work and price fairly.

    Ken Chitgar of Deco Development does more than just "good". He's "great", and here's why:

    + Ken has very good architectural and design taste. He is happy to give you his experienced opinion regarding design choices, and far more often than not, you'll be glad you followed his advice.
    + Ken helps you save money. He will show you where to get quality material at the best prices, and even help negotiate better prices on your behalf. He saved us many-thousands of dollars.
    + Ken works tirelessly and quickly. He doesn't waste time, and the only reason my house took as long as it did (13 months) was because of government red tape and PG&E delays.
    + Ken goes the extra mile. We had some fixtures that were particularly heavy and difficult to install, but he got the job done. And the result is stunning.

    My family loves our new house, and we highly recommend Deco Development. If we decide to build another home, we'll work with Ken again.

    We hired Deco Design & Development to build our new home. Ken ( owner of company) is very honest and his attention to detail is impeccable. Time line on construction of our house was great. Fit and finish of our home Is top notched. Ken also has an amiable personality which made the experience easier for me and for my wife . I highly recommend deco development

    Brand new construction

    Very impressed by their work. Beautiful floor plans and elegant finish work. General contractor is very knowledgable, and has a great eye for every little detail and provides good recommendations. After a few weeks of working with them, I realized I was in good hands. Trustworthy and honest and very professional.

    I have seen a few of their job and they do not disappoint! Owner/General Contractor is very knowledge and he delivers what he promises. You don't even need to worry about design! He does such beautiful job and gives you ideas that you can never come up on your own! He is also a very nice guy.

    I seen some of their work and they do amazing finish work with nice design. The owner Ken has a very good eye for quality and uniqueness. I am in talk with them to have them re-build my old house and he has been very helpful in design suggestions and permit processing.

    I used Deco Design & Development to build my new home, after I had interview several companies and contractors, I felt very comfortable with Deco Development and their great attitude and experties.
    Their price was very reasonable, the contractor Ken was very knowledgable and had a very great ideas and taste. Me & my wife did not need to hire any interior designer since the contractor had very great tips and ideas and finished the home on time and we were very happy with the great quality of the work.
