Shoddy work and poor customer service. We contacted this company to have our pool resurfaced, a new pump installed, and new equipment added to convert the pool over to a salt system instead of chlorine. The resurface job was rushed... the workers telling us that they had to complete it by a certain day because they had a new job on the following day. This resulted in a mess of cement and sealant around the spa area of the pool. When this was reported to Duane at the company, the concern went ignored with no response. This resulted in us having to repaint part of our deck to cover the mess. Two days after the pump was installed the pipes started leaking around the connections because it was not sealed properly upon installation. Then, after a week, one of the seals on the new pump broke in half, causing water to spew from the pool. When Duane was contacted he didn't want to take responsibility for their work, instead stating that he would submit it to the manufacturer and have it covered under warranty when the parts were available. There shouldn't be a warranty issue only 7 days after install if it was installed correctly to begin with. No paperwork, manuals, or warranty information was provided to us for the new equipment. The first worker I asked to explain how the salt system worked told me, "I don't have time to stand around here and talk about it." The second worker I spoke to, who followed up on the leaks, showed me that the top opened and had buttons to control the computer but didn't explain what settings to maintain or what adjustments to make. He said he'd be back in 2 weeks to add salt. After 2 weeks with no follow-up, I contacted Duane, again, who said... very rudely... that we weren't told he'd be back in 2 weeks and that it would be 3-4 weeks. When I asked for additional information about how to work the salt system he said that his worker already told us how to do that. When I explained that his worker only showed us where the buttons were he stated that when the worker returned to add salt he would show us how to operate the equipment but that he would have his worker record the conversation so that there was no confusion about what was said. When I told him that it is illegal in the state of Florida to record someone without their consent and that I would like a copy of all owners manuals and warranty information for the new equipment, he stopped responding completely. Also, be prepared to pay cash... if you want to use a credit card or debit card you will be charged an additional 3% above what they quoted you for the job (something you are not told upfront). Extremely poor customer service and shoddy install work. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
