    Manny and his team at Del Rey reconstruction our kitchen after a pipe leak and asbestos removal. They were professional, thorough and polite throughout the project. They came back and fixed a imperfection in the floor planks weeks later, free of charge. I was impressed by their speed and the smoothness of a 5 week job that could have been very uncomfortable.     Del Rey Construction just finished a 3.5 month project at my home. We lived at home with two dogs while the work was being done. As you’d expect, it was definitely noisy! The project involved moving a staircase, adding a room, and adding a slope to the flat roof portion of the roof. I interviewed 3 companies before I chose Del Rey. Manuel, “Manny”, the owner has an abundance of integrity as does his team. I feel fortunate to have chosen Del Rey because they did what they said they would do.
    They demonstrated excellent attention to details, cost containment, client communication and site maintenance. At the end of each day the worksite was cleaned up so that they could start fresh the next day. I appreciated their attention to leaving the space free from debris. Most importantly, for an old home with plenty of oddities, Del Rey did a super job integrating the new with the old. The engineer who drew up the plans, along with Manny, gave us multiple options when we weren’t certain how to accomplish what we had in mind. Now that the work is done, we are impressed with the outcome. Throughout it all Manny met with me, texted or called with updates and responded in a reasonable amount of time to any questions and additional cost estimates (for my requests for additional work).
    Home remodeling is a big undertaking; it can be disruptive and expensive both in dollars and time. The last thing a home owner wants is to pick the wrong company and find themselves out on a limb with an incomplete project and tremendous cost overruns. I was fortunate to have chosen Del Rey – Manny and his team did an excellent job. I would hire them again.
