Alfredo charger me in advance for a job and after not showing up for days I tried to contact him for several days now to get my money back and he won’t answer

Alfredo did a good job on the backyard fence staining, but missed a couple of places in the front. Our HOA was fining us for it, and Alfredo kept promising to come back and fix that and a couple of other items but never showed up, and eventually wouldn't respond to my texts or phone calls. I finally went and got additional stain and did the work myself. In addition, he subcontracted a painter for us, wanted money up front. Painter Luis V. did a good job on the trim, but then didn't get paid by alfredo, who all of sudden was sick, went back to Mexico, etc etc. Very slippery guy. If you hire him, pay only for materials until the job is done. Great prices, lousy service, bordering on fraudulent.

This guy is a crook. Came out to help finish a fence that someone else screwed up and wanted material money up front and gave me a quote to stain the fence as well but proceeded with the material to also do a bad job on what he finished such as protruding nails from back of boards, unfinished bottom sections, loose posts, cut metal poles crooked to put no caps on them, gate was totally loose with minimum support, argued about some areas we pointed and yet bragged about how good of work he did. Always wanted money up front and always charged for anything little extra things we may not have mentioned. Then he proceeded to not want to finish the job and would not return and we owed him nothing nor did we even say anything to prevent him from finishing except gave him no more money till job was finished. He is a crook and nothing more to say!

We signed a contract in May 2020 with Del Rio and put half down for the work. Check was cashed immediately. Work NEVER happened. To this day we are still trying to recoup our money. Owner takes forever to reply and keeps putting us off. I would not trust this crook!

The first fence he built for us was done well, so we hired him to do more work, but he turned out to be most unreliable. He kept giving us excuses as to why he hadn’t been able to come do the work. After several months, I asked for a refund of the $3,000.00 that I gave him up front. At first he kept saying he has many problems and is unable to refund my money. Now he doesn’t answer my calls or texts. I have reported him to the BBB snd am submitting a claim against him in Small Claims Court.

Del Rio Fence & Stain just completed our fencing (minus staining and a few minor details left which they are doing next week). They did such an AMAZING job even down to the last detail!! I am very happy and pleased with the results... Highly recommend!!

He is friendly and reasonably priced. He did my fence. He finished on time and it looked good. I like it. Highly recommend them.

Alfredo of Del Rio Stain was only slightly cheaper than other bids. The workmanship is fair at best. They came out about 6 times over several weeks to replace a 200' basic fence and stain it. He promised to come out several other days, but was a no-show, no-call. At this point I've given up. Right now, he didn't install the post caps, one of the gate posts wobbles. The pickets are cut uneven along the bottom for some reason. He installed one gate backwards. One gate latch fell apart within a month. There are dark stain blobs on part of the fence where the guy learned how to use the sprayer. One of the ways he tries to cut corners is to claim his bid was to stain only one side of the fence. He also regaled my wife with a number of romantic tales. His own crew disparages him. I do not recommend his services.

Friendly and professional when bidding the job. But the workmanship is shoddy at best. Have poles not even attached to the fence all the way. Example. i have a two different poles that only got attached on the bottom. No attachment on middle or top so the fence just sways and wobbles in the wind. had to fix myself after mr del rio said he would personally come fix and never showed 3 different times. 3 strikes your out. my advice dont pay ANYTHING upfront to this scammer. Great price, horrible service. Messed up an arch on gate on one side promised he would fix it and never came back. Took 4 weeks to get my fence stained, 5 different times his team was a no show of a scheduled day and time. Was told I'd get to choose the stain color, showed up with what he had left over from another project. At this point just wanted the project completed, went with his stain choice but he never fixed the arch. To top it all off used crap nails and top of fence is already coming apart. Said he would show up this Saturday to fix....NO SHOW. Terrible customer service and follow up, if you're patient enough to deal with that then be my guest, 5k for 8' fence, great price crappy service!!!
