Owner
We hired Delta Force Home Improvements to do work at our home. I cannot even rate them 1 star. They are unprofessional, lazy, incompetent and they kept asking for more and more money. They wanted half up front, and then everyday they would ask for more. First, they power washed the house, which was left with black streaks. Then they painted the front porch. We spent the weekend repainting the porch because they missed entire sections and there was poor coverage in the areas they did paint. Still after all that we let them start to replace our deck. They did not put the screw down clips for the Trex decking on every beam as required, but they put them every second or third beam. This makes for a very spongy deck. We finally asked them to leave when we noticed the two sets of 2 step stairs to the deck were unlevel and wobbley and they thought they "good enough".
We will have to purchase the rest of the material for the deck and finish the work ourselves. We are out more than the job would have cost had we hired a professional company. We also kept asking them for the receipts for the materials they did buy, which I might add were bought at retail cost, not contractors cost, and to this day I have not received one receipt. In the end, we paid them more than was quoted in the proposal and we're left with an incomplete wobbley deck. And I forgot to mention the day I came home from work for lunch and the owner was spread out napping on our lawn .
So I just wanted to warn anyone thinking of using them, you'll be doing so at your own risk. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what we did.
