  Vinyl siding, 3,windows and 30 X 6 front porch

  We hired Demko General Contractors June 1, 2021. For new vinyl siding, 3 windows and to add a front porch. We explained that we would need permits AND a VARIANCE for the porch. HE never went to the town until November 2021, when he was told he needed permit & variance. Our porch is still not completed. We had to add an addendum to the contract on January 22, 2022, because he was doing nothing!!!! He went ahead a built the porch without a permit, even with our concerns. He said he had “never needed a permit for a porch & he’s built 100’s”. He ordered wrong material TWICE! The second time he never told us of delivery, it was wrong so it was sent back. His workers showed up 3 days later. I asked why they were here, told to install deck, told them that it was sent back so they could leave. Contractor asked why I sent the material back, it was wrong. Plus it was 1 day before expiration of contract time and his license expiring. Did not want an UNLICENSED contractor on my property doing work. His license expired 3/31/2022. He finally renewed it on May 16, 2022.
  They were sloppy, didn’t show up when said they would, lied to us, non-communicating with customer, took most of our money and NEVER FINISHED the job. There is SO MUCH MORE, but I would need pages. Just beware
  If you decide to hire this “company”. Do your homework. You may be a lucky one, but I know a lot of people that have been burned by them. BEWARE!!!!!!

  Do not use! These are the most unprofessional, sloppy, unreliable "contractors" I have ever come across. They do not clean up after themselves. Left nails and debris everywhere. Do not arrive when they say they will. Sometimes not showing up at all. All the work that was paid for in full was not completed properly and had to be redone. Which, I got the run around for months to complete the work properly. The roof which was supposed to be completely replaced by them leaked within just a few months causing water damage to the interior of my home.
