This contractor has worked for me several times over many years. He has always done fine work at reasonable prices. Never was very dependable in terms of showing up for work or promising to start a project but it was tolerated due to the previous comment. This past summer (2012) Dennis and I ordered 10 Harvey Majesty windows for my home that Dennis promised to install by early fall. He measured all ten windows. Harvey Building Products called me in August to inform me that my windows were in. After several text messages and phone messages, Dennis ignored contacting me. I finally hired someone after three months of trying to contact Dennis. No reply, no contact, no apology, no response or consideration to at least tell me he didn't want the job or was to busy. As my new installer began putting in the windows he discovered that Dennis mis-measured FIVE (5) of the windows by several inches in height! The windows became useless because the company wouldn't take them back and they didn't fit any windows in my entire house. The cost to me for his incompetence was $1,700 for the FIVE windows. I texted him one last time to explain the problem and ask for some type of arrangement. This time he did respond by text. It read, "Fk you Dick head. Sue me" At this time I am weighing my options.
