I don't recommend him at all. He did the work just fine but the hours it took him to do the job doubled from his initial estimate. When I inquired about why it took so long he warned me that he didn't want to be chasing me around for money. I have never not paid a contractor, on time, and in full. While we were still talking about the bill, he lowered the estimate and when I took him up on that, he immediatly reneged and threatened to enter my house, tear down his work, and let me do it. I asked him why he had charged me for the hour or so where all we did was discuss the project. He had no response. He had also charged me for whatever time it took him to make two trips to Home Depot because apparently it's my fault that he didn't get enough supplies on the first trip. He also charged me for his lunch hour. I paid him whatever he asked for because I wanted to end our association and this horrible experience. I changed my lockbox as soon as I got hom that night because I don't trust him and will screen people I hire much more carefully in the future.
