UNBELIEVABLE!
This is hands down the WORST company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with!
I paid for an EMERGENCY AC replacement back in JUNE. Let me emphasize—EMERGENCY—because I live in South Florida, where summer heat is no joke. On June 14, the contractors filed an application to replace my AC unit. Fast forward to July, and after weeks of sweating it out (pun intended), I called the city of Tamarac to find out what was going on. They informed me they were still WAITING ON PAPERWORK from the contractors! Finally, on July 25, I got a notice from the city that the contractors had CANCELLED the permit!!
Yes, you read that right—CANCELLED! And remember, this is an EMERGENCY AC situation in South Florida, in a 55+ community where I live with my 77-year-old mother! The heat is unbearable, and we’re stuck with an AC that sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t because these people can’t get their act together!
I was furious and panicked! They didn’t reapply for the permit until August 8! I called them again on August 12, and all I got was, “we’re working on it.” Seriously?
Today, I contacted the city of Tamarac again, and the clerk was speechless. He said he’d never seen anything like this before! He said a simple email to the Chief Building Official would get this done in days!!!
In my next attempt to get things moving, I called DePlus Contractor Inc to inform them that they could simply send an email to get this resolved in days. Their response? “Call back later, no one is here to help you!” No offer to take a message, no concern for the situation—just a dismissive brush-off!
This is beyond horrible service—it's a complete disregard for customers’ needs! If I could give ZERO stars, I would!!
Please say a prayer that I get my replacement AC before the year is out!
