  Repair Water System

  After being without water all weekend I started calling around Monday morning. Irrigation Specialists had no crew available but gave me Mr. Harvill's number. I called him. He was finishing a job in Burbank and said he'd be right over. He arrived that morning, surveyed the situation, and pulled the pump which had one winding shorted to ground. He went to lunch and returned with all necessary parts. He assembled the new pump and set it in the well along with 440 feet of pipe. By the time he left that afternoon I had water. The service was fast, the quality excellent, and the price affordable. I'd give him ten stars out of five. I recommend him to my friends with wells.

  I contacted Mr. Harvil to inspect my well which appeared to be dry. His call back was very good except he kept insisting that I had to give him my credit card numbers over the phone. I refused. Two servicemen appeared the following day, spent a lot of time on the phone calling the boss and another contractor. Told me they would try a certain method and then told me I owed them $600. for the consult and again insisted I give them my credit card. I had timed them and for an hour and a half of phone calls I agreed to pay them $300. (cash) just for them to go away. They were supposed to call me the next day to give me an estimate but I never heard from them again. BBB and Elder abuse org. have been notified. Use at your own risk. I would never refer.

  Leaking well.

  They were delayed by 1 day to service a leak in our well. I had to call at 7 pm to find out they were not coming out until the next day instead. My husband had already dug out 80% of the well casing when they arrived at 11:30. They were finished by 12:30. They did not re-cover the well with soil. On top of that, they charged me $150.00 per hour for 2 hours, although they were 'on the job' for only 1 hour. I will not be hiring them again.
