TERRIBLE COMPANY, DISHONEST & UNPROFESSIONAL: They have complaints on the Better Business Bureau BBB. I have a Lifetime Warranty on the Structure of my pool, that Desert Springs Pools will not honor. I've paid a structural engineer to confirm my claim
I've spent $3,500 on a Structural Engineer, Pool- builder advice and a Bot news report, to prove my claim to Desert Springs Pools that the structure of my Pool & Spa, are cracked and failing, due to Structural DEFECT, and not anything else such as tree roots, as the company claimed. I spent another $1000 to dig a 3' trench around my pool and photograph that there are NO tree roots present. After sending in my claim to Desert Springs, they still denied my claim and said if I wanted to resolve and compensation, I'd have to sue them for it. That will cost me almost $50K to do so.

my backyard project stalled after 3 months. nobody has been back to the house for 3 months. the designer/salesman will not answer any messages nor the site managers or project managers. the masonry component of the project failed to obtain a permit for a wall when the project was started leaving me with a demolished back and side yard which is now just a dirt lot. the concrete that was laid around the pool did not follow the blue print and needs to be ripped up and poured again. there are electric and gas lines running up through the concrete that are not supposed to be there. the puck led lights per the blueprint were never placed nor is there any electric run beneath the concrete. the new spillways for the jacuzzi are not even and only one spillway pours into the pool. there is no umbrella sleeve in the new wet deck (per the blueprint). the electric components for the pool pump along with breakers have not been properly installed and there are live wires laying across the pump. there was supposed to be flagstone around the perimeter of the pool and jacuzzi per the blueprint and it was never installed. the company denies it was ever ordered and refuses to fix their error. the outdoor kitchen has not been built and apparently the company has abandoned the site. i have paid over $99,000 to date and i have only the original demolition and a pool remodel that needs to be done over again to show for it. the lack of communication is disturbing. i have no recourse at this point but to file a complaint against their contractor’s license for shoddy workmanship and site abandonment. the worst part is they just don’t care. i have several unanswered emails and text messages asking for updates or plans to finish the project. i have suggested we go our separate ways and haven’t received a reply for that either. i have no clue how these guys are in business.
