Stay away from this company! On June 18th 2022 a contract was signed and on June 21st a wire in the amount of $11,701.35 was sent to Design Build Florida for a deposit for the work to be done on the pool, deck, spa, and cage at 6304 Brentwood Ave. The plans and permit were to be started right away but did not get submitted until October 12th 2022 (almost 4 months after contract and funds sent). The permit has not been approved and the work has not been started now after over 7 months. Ive let the owner know we need our deposit back and he is not responding or sending the funds. He also left us with unpaid permit fees on top of the $11,701.35 he took from my family and I. We are not in the process of having to take more time and money to get those funds back. Stay away from this company if you want to save yourself a lot of trouble.
