I purchased a luxury home from Design Built Homes in 2020 and I'm very disappointed with the quality of the home and the lack of accountability shown by the builder. The first major water leak revealed itself within a year of purchasing the home. The builder covered the cost of these repairs but it was clear they had done extremely shotty work initially. When the home was 3 years old the second leak presented itself. They had incorrectly installed the outdoor staircase. Unfortunately this leak was slow leading to a mold issue. The builder has refused to discuss covering any of the cost resulting from their substandard product. I do not believe Design Built Homes is capable of building luxury homes since they refuse to examine their mistakes and be accountable for them. If you buy one of their homes be prepared for mold and constant leaks issues.
