Worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. No call no show on almost every day they said they would be on-site. Totally unprofessional. The owner, Rolland is completely shady. He gives prices before the work starts, promises certain things will be done, then always conveniently "doesn't ever remember" talking about whatever it was, or changes his story, but will be happy to do it for 'x" amount more. The workmanship was even horrible. Said he was going use used crushed concrete under the pool apron (deck), then never did. In fact, he didn't prep the base of the concrete patio at all, just poured the concrete over the existing sand/dirt without so much as compacting, let alone using a proper base. Within a week the patio is cracked, spalling, and dusting, looks like it's been there 30 years and needs to be refinished. Also the pitch wasn't properly done and we have a huge puddle in a low spot that isn't pitched away from the pool to drain. As far as the pool is concerned, the liner is about a rip where the corner of the pool is, because it's stretched tightly on the sharp part of the coping, but according to them, "it just has to be like that". Also, I have already had to replace the plumbing from the pump to the filter (which itself is not level), because his attempt to "fix" the leak failed twice. Bear in mind the pool is still under "warranty" for another month or so, but I figured I'd just eat the $100 and have it done right by someone else. Can absolutely tell the difference in workmanship when a real professional does the work. Would not recommend this guy to my worst enemy.
