Designer Sash and Doors roots go back to 1983.
They have had a history of making Wood windows, Entry doors, and Vinyl Windows. They stopped making vinyl windows in 2004 when they experienced firsthand dual pane glass fogging and seal failure. There mission is to educate homeowners about why all vinyl windows will eventually fail. That lead them to search the world over and find ULTREX... and Infinity from Marvin Widows.

My love of Woodworking started in 1974 at Villa Park High School's wood shop. I then went on to Apprentice under Master Journeyman Woodworker's making Beautiful Custom Wood Windows and Doors. I started making my own Elegant Entry Doors in 1983. Our Company soon began to make our own Wood window and then we made Vinyl Window's for 12 years until we found the reason why vinyl windows eventually fog up between the dual pane glass. I have a passion for sharing my experience as a vinyl window manufacturer and helping homeowners understand why every vinyl window will eventually fog up and fail.     Designer Sash and Doors replaced my windows in 2013. They took the time to help us find the best choice for our home and the windows are beautiful. The installation crew were so neat and clean, they did a wonderful job and took the time to show me how to use everything and when they left my home it looked like they had never been there except my beautiful new windows.
