After doing some research on reviews we stumbled upon Devart8 Construction.
Ray responded very quickly and shortly thereafter scheduled time to meet at our home to go over our project.
Ray was patient with our timeline and gave us time to consider the bid and decide whether to proceed with the project.
We decided to do a full bathrooms and kitchen remodel and other projects (electrical, recess lighting, paint, flooring, fireplace, stair flooring, insulation).
Ray was very communicative and highly reasonable with his pricing even as we tacked on additional projects along the way.
Devart8 does great work and we would be happy to use him again! We love our new bathrooms and kitchen, especially in time for the baby which we are expecting any day now.

This was my second time that we used devart8 construction for our home renovation; this time project was included kitchen addition and metal roofing.
The work team was very professional and invested in the project, and the work was done neatly and on time.
The attention to details was exceptional and even the town inspectors commented on the high quality of the work done.

If you’re looking for a good designer or builder in the Milpitas area, DevArt8 is the way to go. Fantastic designers—we’ve worked with Hila and Mei under Ray’s supervision, all have worked hard to make sure our remodels end up checking off all of our boxes and then some. The construction team is also fast, friendly and professional. We can’t stop telling our friends and neighbors about this great business!

A backyard pool was a dream of ours for a long time. We ended up scouring the internet and asking a bunch of our neighbors for referrals before we finally decided on DevArt8 to put in our pool. It’s no ordinary pool, either—they actually put in special features like a slide on our request (in fact, that was one of the reasons we chose them over their competitors). Ray, Hila—you did an amazing job, and we are so happy!

As a parent, I'm thrilled with the results after my 10-year-old son completed the English language for children course. The course structure aligned well with his school curriculum, making it a seamless addition to his learning journey. Not only did he enhance his vocabulary, but his confidence in speaking English has also grown. Highly recommend this course for young learners

The DevArt 8 team built my ADU on time with care and attention to detail, surpassing expectations.

I was initially hesitant about renovating my kitchen and bathrooms after hearing one too many contractor horror stories. But DevArt 8 and their lead designer Hila made the process practically stress-free for me. Hila was very hands-on throughout the project, checking in daily even when she couldn't be onsite. She kept me looped in on all the details so I always knew what to expect. A couple minor hiccups came up that Hila took care of seamlessly - a slight delay waiting for tile delivery and a question on vent hood ducting. I never felt out of control or that things had gone off the rails. The crews were professional and cleaned up after themselves too. Now when I cook in my gorgeous new kitchen or soak in my spa-like bath, I'm so glad I took the leap into renovating. If you're considering a remodel, I highly suggest bringing DevArt 8 and Hila on to manage it. Their attention to detail gave me peace of mind and a final result I couldn't be happier with.

Dealing with contractors can be stressful, but Devart8 made our bathroom addition project hassle-free. Their upfront pricing and timeline estimates were accurate. Communication was excellent throughout. The foreman effectively coordinated all subcontractors resulting in top-notch workmanship and attention to detail. Our new master bath feels like a high-end spa. We appreciated Devart8's transparency and were thrilled with the final product.

DevArt8 did an outstanding job on our house remodel, which was a major adventure. We took down walls, added a new walls, popcorn ceiling removed and re-install new ones, bathrooms, new floor, all amazing new backyard with wood finishes, new roof, and a gorgeous new kitchen WOWW!!
Our house was completely transformed.
The end result was exactly what we wanted and the project came in on our demands and limits even though we had a number of change requests, and more importantly, ON TIME!

Ray did a fantastic job managing our project and ensured that we were overjoyed with the end product.
He made several key suggestions, we took his advice on every one, and to say we are grateful for those suggestions would be an understatement.
Communication was great and we always felt like the project was under control.
I would absolutely use Devart8 again for a major project or any project for that matter.

I have worked with different contractors in my life. Some are okay, some are horrible, and few are really top-notch.
I can highly recommend Devart8 Construction as the top-notch contractor!
We have planed our remodel for almost 2 years and after we finally submitted the blueprints to the city;

Ray (owner) is a super nice guy and very flexible as he understood how much the details are important for us!!
Johani team has done an excellent job that saved the damage made by previous contractor.
Johani is on top of everything, very patient with my requests which again change several times during the remodeling.
Their price is not cheap but very competitive and most importantly Jhoani is always very responsive.
I am really glad that I found them.

We contracted them to do out master and guest bathrooms. Devart8 did an excellent job. We got cheaper quotes from other places, but they didn't water proof the showers or provide a design specialists. Guys came on time everyday and even with almost 2 weeks delays due termites issue we had, they finished both bathrooms with final inspection in 5.5 weeks! if you are looking for someone to do your renovation right, look no further.

Devart8 construction crew are very talented craftsman. We had a vision of using our existing powder room location to build a new bathroom. We didn’t want to change too much framing work because we have the old water tank heater there. When I would send messages and pictures they didn’t understand quite what I was talking about, but when they came over and I could explain better in person they planned it out and executed all my ideas flawlessly. When my husband and I asked for a detail to be changed they did it without any hesitation or questions and it turned out perfectly. Melissa was the coordinator but Johani and his crew are the creative masters. The best part was that they were able to stay on budget and finish in our agreed timeline. I would work from home and appreciated that they were respectful of that and made sure to work around me being at home. I am looking forward to getting more work done in the near future with them.

This company is made of people who really care about their customers.
They continue to set their standards above any level of service I’d be except, ask, or even hope for.
We had few issues but they were always here to update and trying to solve it quick-
You definitely won’t find better service or quality.

I would recommend to start with planning under Ray teams control and determining a budget soon as they start with house measurements;
End results looks 99% the same!!

Ray and his crews handled a full renovation of our kitchen, tiles and living area.
They did amazing job and we’re really flexible to our schedule and very attentive to our design needs.
We ended up with everything matching to our designs and whole new feel to the space.

The crew was friendly and really care from all our family and the house.
Ray has been doing construction more then a decade and we could definitely see it with the way he mange his teams and care from each details.
Results are amazing and we are already started to plan with Devart8 designers our ADU & Kitchen project :)
