    He did a driveway paving job that he hired a sub for and although he did not do what he promised it was acceptable.He cut us short on a few areas that he had said would be covered but then they were not.He also charged us extra for warranty which is basically useless because he won’t return calls.But again,he did ok with driveway.Then we hired him for power washing and staining and gave him a deposit.He said it would take 4 days and he would show up two days later.afor the next month we literally had to track him down daily.He was gonna show up but something came up but he’d be here tomorrow then he want here tomorrow cause something came up.He worked a total of five hours in three weeks.When I told him to just refund part of my money he said he would not but he would be there the next day and be finished in two days.After he no showed the next day my wife and I took the project upon ourselves after repeated messages to find out why he wasn’t there.He then called me at noon and agreed to complete half the job.At that point my wife was almost done with the part he was going to complete so I requested a refund for a portion of the deposit.Willing to pay for his 5 hours.We compromised to something that was more than fair to him and he showed up a month and a half later with 1/3.Now he has disappeared.Beware

    Cornice work

    Devin did some work around my house and he was very pleasant to deal with. He did a good job at a fair price. I would recommend him to friends and family.

    I had a very bad experience w/ this contractor. He took deposit to buy material for my job, never did the porch & patio coating & put driveway sealer down just before it rained and being water based, it wash down the street & splashed all over the garage door & facing. He refuses to give me my deposit back nor the product not used for the job that he did not complete. Now he won't answer calls, nor come back to fix the mess. Before he did any work, he wanted more money & I refused & so glad I didn't give him more to steal. DH Culpeper, VA. Needs to be stopped.

    Unfortunately I hired Devin Reeves, and was stuck with half a job done, and all the up-front money gone.
    He did not follow his contracts, but took money from jobs he did not do, and walked off the job. I was out over $5,000.
    He became irrational and scared my wife by throwing a shovel before deserting the job site.

    concrete stamped walkway, patio, and retaining wall

    Devin was a nice enough person to start with and I felt confident that he would perform the services requested. However, he started the project-a 128 ft. by 3.5 ft. walkway to be concrete stamped with a patio & stone wall retainer, his sub-contractor however, pored the cement on Wednesday May 3rd without supervision by contractor and failed to place the walkway forms correctly causing a very flawed pattern when removed leaving a jagged edge on both sides. in addition the stamp was overused and caused stamped flaws all along the walkway which I pointed out to the contractor. the sub also failed to include expansion joints when pouring the concrete and later cut them in with a saw discoloring the walkway. the under concrete walk set-up was nil as they poured over top a previous walkway, added little gravel and failed to crush it down to stabilize the walk causing it to crack in three places all the way across the walkway by that Friday--two days after the process was supposed to be complete. I am left with a 4 inch high above grade flawed work project. The contract called for additional steps that were not performed that I continually quarried about including a retainer wall around the patio contracted to be a foot taller than what was completed.
    this work is not a quality performance of the project as discussed and contracted for and should be removed or compensated with regard to the high price paid for the work.
    the contractor seems fair and reasonable to deal with but failed to supervise his sub-contractor leaving a bad impression on his contracting abilities and a poor outcome. I could not recommend this contractor until I am made whole and satisfied.

    He called me tonight, the same day he said he was interested. He will call again tomorrow and we'll set up a time for him to come to the site.
