  Excellent! Every step went smoothly. Crew was always punctual, polite, & did a perfect job of digging a foundation, then pouring a new pad for a sunroom addition.

  DFM did concrete flatwork for my property, and the finished product was substandard with surface cracking, rough edges, and uneven surfaces. His workers attempts to correct and patch some problem areas were unsatisfactory and unsightly, and the result was worse than the original product. The owner, Danny Martinez, was difficult to deal with and refused to make good on his customer satisfaction guarantee.

  Do NOT hire this person, Dan Martinez, under any circumstance! He is a liar, cheat and scammer. He never did what he said he would do and then the price kept going up, up, up almost daily. The day of the pour, he never arrived as promised and let his contracted workers and us wait for 3 hours for the concrete. He did not pay for the concrete in advance (as suggested) and we had to pay the COD. All he did was make a few phone calls and charged lots of money for that. Never got a written contract, never came to see the project as promised, and then jacked up the prices. Total dismal failure. Then when we wanted to pay the first price quoted, since he did NOTHING as promised, he was threatening and mean, repeatedly. Tried to use COVID as an excuse too but well after the fact. He does not seem to pay the contractors either, very sad because the workers were wonderful. So basically he scams the customer, the sub-contractors and all! Very disappointed in all of this but learned a lot, mostly not to trust anyone and never expect to be treated in a professional manner. Bad and costly lesson. Do hope that his bad behavior and threatening ways will come back to haunt him. Really need a negative star rating!

  Lets just say you get what you pay for. I'm constantly surprised at how dishonest contractors are. I hired DFM to seal some existing concrete and they left me with an incomplete job.

  Dan talks a good story but when it comes to showing up on time and following through with what he says he's going to do your faith is better placed elsewhere.

  A job that he originally quoted as a two day job took longer than two weeks. In addition, he completely lied about material costs. Finally, the job was to seal the concrete and when he left there were spots that were missed in which he never came back to finish even after repeated calls.

  There is zero service after the sale so do not be fooled by any claims of warranty.

  I've filed a complaint with the CID. Please save yourself the trouble.
