The DGARRICK CONSTRUCTION GROUP(DCG) was the general contractor on my seawall erosion project. I replaced an aging Rip Wrap seawall with geo-tubes(GT)
DCG was thoroughly professional and supervised the project every step of the way from hiring an architect who drew up plans for permitting to the city of Plantation to the hiring and complete supervision of the actual company that installed the GT.
The DCG also addressed any issues and questions I had for the installing company, the architect and the permitting process.
I was very pleased with the DCG and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in any home improvement project.

Hired Dawn in October of 2016 to build an addition on my house. It's now 6 months later and we still do not have plans to submit to the city. She sub contracted a mechanical engineer who refuses to finish the plans after already being paid last month in full for the plans. Beware she will take your money and run ! Do not trust her
Response from DGarrick Construction Group Inc August 25, 2017I was contacted by Ms. Massoni (Michelle) to build an addition in October 2016. She asked if I could assist her with the drawing of the plans. I contacted the engineer that I’ve worked with on several projects to see if he can take on the job and he agreed. During the course of the project there were some delays in the completion of the plans due to Hurricane Matthew, Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays. I suggested to Ms. Massoni that she was free to take her business elsewhere and that she had no obligations as there was no written agreement and no deposit of any kind. She declined! The plans were completed on 1/13/17, I printed and paid for 3 copies, which I delivered to Ms. Massoni and asked her to review and outline the changes that needed to be made, which she did. She stated that they could not go over their budget of $50K so she decided to do an efficiency. Ms. Massoni was told that she could not turn her home into an efficiency in a single family home. She then requested a full refund. The engineer agreed to return the money in full. Ms. Massoni now holds my company responsible for the referral and said that I sub the plans out to the engineer, which is incorrect. I never took her money and ran, I communicated with her several times per day via text messages, phone calls & emails. I have supporting documents that will verify every word mentioned in my response. LESSON Learnt!!!!

She was patient with me while choosing my color, protected my floor and furniture and cleaned up after the job was done. She was one of the best contractor I've worked with. I would recommended DGCG to anyone looking for a honest and reliable contractor.
