Best bang for you buck!
These guys were very comparable in price with other quotes but in the end we were much happier spending our money with a small business owner vs a corporate run competitor.
For about the same cost, Robert was able to give us more features, better equipment, more hardscape, more landscape, and an overall better design and build.
Robert was available to us 100% of the time for any updates, changes and any questions or concerns we had..

We signed a contract 10/13/2021 & were told we would have a pool in 60-90 days. The pool wasn't even started until well after the new year (February). Initially, we were told they were waiting on the permit. We were not given any updates unless we messaged the owners, and it was a constant "I'll check Monday" or "7-10 days." The date/time would pass & we wouldn't hear anything. Every single step took months to complete. It was June before water was added to the pool.
Contract included the install of a fence at $4200; owner tried to tell us fence was not in the quote & asked for an additional $4200 to pay for it. Retracted this once we showed him the contract with the bid included. Fence installed with very little paint in two different colors of black; fence isn't even 6 months old and is covered in rust. Diablo did not ask what color we wanted the fence, and had it installed as black. They had asked us every color of the project right before they installed it (pavers, tiles, plumbing, etc.), but did not ask on the fence. We were told we would have to pay an additional fee to have the fence re-painted.
We are still waiting for the salt system to be installed. We had to point out that the salt system was on the contract & the original bid for the owners to order the part. The salt system should have been installed in July. The owners said the part was on back order. Two weeks ago they said the part was in and was scheduled to be installed that week. We have yet to have the part installed & they have not given us any updates. We call, but they don't return messages, and we text, but it is hit or miss on whether or not we get an answer.
12 months out & still waiting for pool to be completed. We constantly have to text the owners and leave messages, but they do not always answer and their contractors do not come when they say they will. They do not notify you either way.
We picked this company due to a referral from a reputable source. The only reviews online said this was a great company to work with. The initial price quote was competitive & the owners assured us they complete job in a timely manner because they do not over book their contractors. However, our experience has been anything but great, and I would not recommend Diablo Pools Unlimited out of Mesa, AZ to anyone.
