In 2022, my wife and I hired a local contractor to build our retirement home. Diamond Cabinet Works (DCW) was recommended to us by the builder, who sad to say, we later had a billing dispute with (but I won't get into that). After closing, we learned the builder had instructed DCW owner, "Jerry", "not to talk with" us or "return" to our home to resolve our punch list issues. It's worth noting that our dispute was not with DWC, who was paid more than $32,000 in M&L with our loan funds. Nevertheless, DWC chose not to warranty their work, despite repeated pleas to "Jerry". Guess the"Good Ole' Boy" network is a live and well at DWC. Separately, 10-15 percent of the cabinets installed by DWC did not work as intended, warped or were installed with visible tool marks, or protruding screws, etc. Giving DWC one-star is less about quality or price then it is about personal integrity and professionalism. DWC chose not to stand behind their name, and craftsmanship, and any company that chooses that path is not worth supporting, in this man's view.
