The issues began to snowball: the niche, incorrectly installed waterproofing, they never had the proper drain and last minute material changes... When I realized they didn’t know what they were doing. It was already too late - my bathroom floor/shower floor, one shower wall was put (all without grout) . And, now it all has to be redone because they didn’t put enough thinset/mud to properly adhere the tiles to the wall according to the TCNA standards.. Or, any standard for that matter! There are substantial voids under the entire shower wall tiles which is supposed to be 95% and I can see plastic decoupling mat and plastic levelers floating in thin air my bathroom floor which supposed to be 80% coverage under the tile...
