Diligent Flooring installed my flooring about 2 years ago and did a great job. I recently remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms and needed some repairs done to the flooring. So, I consulted Sean and he said it would be no problem and take about half a day to complete. Upon the first scheduled appointment, an employee of Sean's was sent to repair my floor. He claimed he was told it would be a quick repair of 1 board in the corner and that he couldn't fix my flooring because it would take too much time. I was confused because I had already consulted with Sean and discussed exactly what needed to be done. When I asked Sean what happened, he just said that his worker is a cry baby and doesn't want to work hard. No apology was given. So, Sean said he would have to come out personally and it would be another 2 week wait. I verbally confirmed the second appointment the day before. Sean failed to show up and no notification was given to me. I texted him. No response. I spoke with Sean the following day and asked why he didn't show up, and his response was, "I am a busy man." I then asked why I should be complacent with being stood up with no explanation as to why, and his response was, "I am a busy man. You should find someone else to do your flooring." Again, no apology was given. Sean is not the only one in this world that is busy and values his time. My time is just as valuable. I would rather of been told from the beginning that he was not available, and perhaps given a referral to someone else he trusted. This is a horrible way to run a business and treat your customer!
