  These people are total scam artists. Check the CT Civil Judicial Records. They ask for a portion of the contract money and never come back. Tons of judgements against them. It appears they regularly scam their landlords too. Being evicted from place to place. BEWARE.

  Hired Chris DiManno to paint the interior of our house for close to $4800. He asked half for a deposit, and on the third day asked us for the other half because he needed the money. He promised to finish the job professionally as stated in our proposal, which was to paint all the interior of the house including the garage, applying two coats. He abandoned the job with one coat of paint with splatters all over the carpet, hardwood floors, toilets, sinks, cabinets and spray painted the gargage--including the windows, floors, garagedoor-opener motor and sensors, which stopped working after it was painted over. He avoided calls and did not return emails when we sent him numerous photos of the abandoned/ruined job.... and basically took our money and "ran." We took him to court and won the case--the judge ruled that he pays us $3700. Reading other reviews on the internet, it looks like this guy "scams" for a living. BE AWARE!

  Hired to prep and paint a 2100 sq foot house. After being part way thru the job we pointed out some areas we were not happy with . Chris indicated his crew would be in on Sat and Sun - when they didn't show on Sat my husband called - he said he was not coming in he was upset that we pointed out faults with his work - after conversation said he would be in mon - nevr showed. THIS IS A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY - THEY ARE SLOPPY AND HAVE NO PRIDE IN WHAT THEY DO - THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN TAKING YOUR MONEY - DO NOT BE A FOOL AND HIRE THEM

  We located Dimanno on Craftjack.com and had them come out to give us a bid. They provided a bid to do a complete paint job on a 2 bedroom condo and we awarded them the job on August 7, 2011. They indicated that they would get it done right away. They provided a start and finish date and we had our property manager go out to inspect the work. It had never been started. We spent two days calling and leaving messages with no call backs. When we did get a call back, Chris Dimanno indicated that they were delayed and would start the following Monday or Tuesday for sure (8/15-16). On 8/20 I called Chris to check the status and got no call back, I repeated this through Tuesday 8/23. That evening I got a call back from his "secretary" indicating that they had been out there the past two days and that there was no access to the building. I explained that there was a lockbox on the door and Chris had the code. She said Chris would contact me back. I tried to reach Chris on Thrusday, not having heard from him, and left a message. I repeated this process through Monday 8/29 and finally got him to call me back. It was at this time that I had to fire them and locate a new contractor. Unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest, and not recommended is my review.
