  Emmett with DiNello is by far the best contractor i have ever used for roofing and gutters. I highly recommend him. Great crew and very detailed on the roof and clean up.

  Replace roof

  I was surprised to learn that my husband had asked DiNello to replace our roof. We weren't having any leaking inside but we knew our 20 year old roof had been damaged over the years. DiNello's representative had told my husband that DiNello would fix our roof for the cost of our deductible. We have a 3200 sf house so that sounded really good to us. They took charge of the claim we put in to our insurance. When the final word came back from our insurance company, it was clear DiNello was disappointed. They were expecting $18467.80 but goy $10,181.09. Apparently a 20 year old Texas roof banged up by hail doesn't bring in as much as one would like. But June 9th, after waiting for guys to show up all day, DiNello's crew finally showed up late in the day and worked until dark (about 8:30/9:00pm). The roofing crew came back the next day and worked all day. The crew was predominantly Hispanic. During the honeymoon phase of this deal he had told us that he had his own crews working for him. His rep had said they had been in business 28 years but that wasn't quite true. They had only been with the BBB for 2 years. Their address was in Denton, but the office phone number had a 281 area code which is Houston. The brochure says the company is North Texas Roofing Contractors Association Accreditation, but when I went to the NTRCA site, I couldn't find their name on their members list. I told my husband not to use them, I didn't trust them. But he went with them anyway. June 10th my husband came out in the morning to let the crew know there was water in the refrigerator. Later that day he noticed they were drinking beer. After the job was done, they did not clean up after the job as they had promised to do so in the contract. Bob DiNello assured us that he could get one of "his crews" back out to clean up the nails and stuff. They never came back. Also, while trucking in materials they damaged our road. There was roofing material in our driveway that they finally go out of the way. DiNello said he would fix the driveway but the only guy he has sent made an appointment and then called to cancel it because he had waited to get his supplies the day before the labor day weekend for something. He called again in September, the 21st I believe asking if he could come back out. I said no we were going on vacation. I don't want this company back out on my property. Nor do I want any company he picks out to fix my road. I feel we have a 30 year warranty on this roof. I don't think DiNello will be around long enough to honor it. I no longer want them on my property. Whether or not you do is up to you. I feel there are a lot more substantial roofing companies in our own backyards that do this well. 25 years from now I got a feeling I will be glaring at my husband after our roof falls apart and asking him "now what".

  DiNello Contracting Inc. installed a premium roofing system on our home.
  The clean up was great and the warranty is 10 years.
  when we sold our home the watranty transferred to the new home owner.
  We were very satisfied and would use them again.
