I hired Jeffrey Dingman to do wire my house. He did 50% of it and never finished it. I found out he's not a licensed electrician and hire someone else. He would say he would finish and never did but he managed to go to Florida 3 times and Texas 1 time in a 2 month period. I asked him to complete the work and he wouldn't give some BS excuse absolutely horrible electrician and is a scammer and isn't a legal electrician. I've filed against him Conciliation court. I also reported him the the BBB and the Department of Labor. He's done this to multiple people. DON'T HIRE HIM HE'S HORRIBLE and a COMPLETE LIAR!

HIred him to do wiring. He came late most days or not at all. Said the job would take a day or two to complete. It took a week as he would only work an hour or two a day. When done, the smoke detector he wired kept beeping-- he left the ground fault was off so it did not beep. When we flipped the ground fault on, the smoke detector kept beeping. We finally put up a battery one. Then when we plugged in an electric fireplace into dedicated circuit, the circuit breaker cuts out. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!

Jeffrey Dingmann took deposit for the electrical work and basically never showed up for work, constantly lied about being on site working. After we fired him and requested the money back, he disappeared, never returned the money and we are no in process with small claims courts. He is a plain scammer, stay away!

If you are looking for a licensed and qualified electrician, learn from our experience and mistakes, and DO NOT hire Jeff Dingmann. The phone number on the ad is (651-337-9266)
Our experience with him goes as follows: we were looking for an electrician to run electricity out to a shed in the backyard; Jeff Dingmann’s ad was on Craigslist, so we reached out. He came and assessed the job, quoting us roughly 1,200 dollars total, not including parts.
First off, he was a no-show the first day. Second, he had his kids come and dig the trench, demanding 500 dollars, 300 dollars for him, and 100 dollars for each of his kids for the work they did that day. Then, he was a no-show for a week, finally returning and continuing his electrical job, stating he would be back to connect the lights once the shed was sheet rocked.
After this, we ran into him at Home Depot, telling him he forgot to run a shut-off switch in the shed and a dimmer switch for the light. He said he returned the following day to finish and never showed up. We reached out on several occasions, no response or reply, and came to find his number was disconnected.
After several failed attempts, we reached out to another electrician to come and wire lights and do what was left undone by Jeff Dingmann, and was told the following:
-Jeff Dingmann had fished electrical wire out of the meter (which is illegal)
- Ran 20 amp breaker for 15 amp wire (which would have caused a fire)
- Ran 15 amp wire for a wall heater (which should be a 20 amp wire)
- Ran conduit above where we talked about doing that he said he would fix (never did)
- Upon investigation, he did not wire the outlet for the wall heater (livewire exposed)
- Unreliable, a liar, thief, and committed fraud by theft of service
