By JdApril 10, 2015Roofing$9,000DIRALAST wont LAST! DONT HIRE!!
DO NOT HIRE DIRALAST!!! Their customer service is AWEFUL! Its amazing how you can take someone's money, sign a contract, make false promises, do not provide any services and just walk away. And when said customer tries relentlessly to call DIRALAST, you're voicemail is full or when DIRALAST does answer you have the balls to threaten a customer with physical violence. RIck Dirr and Corey/Cory Dirr have a nice little scam/enterprise going on here people! BEWARE!!!
What's even funnier is you think you can leave town and no one will know. Ah...but this is where you've got to love technology, social media, and the internet. You can run but you cannot hide. One shouldn't take money from someone's mother and think no one else is watching. I'm just bummed I even have to choose "a star" for YOU!
See you sooner than you think. Ill be watching. As I always am. How is Cincinnati anyway? -

DO NOT HIRE...UNPROFESSIONAL/SHODDY WORK!!!
In June of 2013 I decided to construct a building to house machines for metal working, vehicles, and lawn and garden equipment. I wanted more than a metal building, I wanted something built that would match my house…ie. same siding, shingle roof, brick front and windows like the front of the house. I talked to three different companies about my plans. All agreed the building could be built but only Diralast came in with a reasonable cost. Rick Dirr and his son, Cory Dirr, both came to see the site and the house and enthusiastically agreed that my project could be done to my specifications. I checked the Better Business Bureau website and saw that the company had a rating of A-. Problems that had been reported had been fixed by the company in a timely manner.
Together with Cory Dirr, a contract was drawn up for a 32x48 foot building that would resemble the existing house. The cost quoted to me was $30,000. The company asked for half up front to order materials. The remaining half would be due upon completion. On July 10, 2013, Rick Dirr came to my house with the typed contract. I signed the contract and gave him a check for $15,000. Rick told me at that time that the materials would be ordered from Menard’s and delivered in two weeks. The trusses would be made to order and delivered with the rest of the package. After the two weeks passed, I began calling Cory/Rick to find out about the delivery of the materials. After getting nowhere with either of them, as they seemed to be ignoring my calls, I started calling Menard’s myself. Six weeks later, the materials were finally delivered but the package was incomplete. I found out weeks later that Cory never did order the entire package…just enough to get started.
Rick and Cory stated that they would take care of obtaining all permits necessary for the job. At this point, things were taking so long I didn’t trust anything the Dirrs were telling me. I called both the county and the township and discovered that nobody had inquired about any permits. I called Diralast and was assured they would take care of it the very next day. When I called at the end of the business day I found out I had been lied to yet again. Even with my repeated calls and double checking with the county and township it took a month to get the building permits in place.
The permit problems were the beginning of the Diralast nightmare. On October 23, 2013, Cory drew up a second contract stating that the building would be done no later than November 28, 2013 or $350 would be subtracted from the balance for each day it wasn’t done beyond the deadline of 11/28.
I am out a total of $22,000 because Cory stated he would need an additional $7,000 to pay for the concrete once it was poured. I also have an outstanding bill of $1000 for the gravel that was delivered for the concrete floor that Diralast never paid. All I have to show for the last eight months is an incomplete roof over a concrete floor that is poorly done. I am still missing over half of the materials that my original $15,000 check was to pay for. Below is a list of issues I experienced working with Rick and Cory Dirr.
Constant delays in delivery of materials and work being done
Phone calls ignored by both Cory and Rick
False promises made repeatedly
Outright lies about when work would be done
Cory playing the blame game when things didn’t get done
Cory Dirr was verbally abusive in person and on the phone
Very poor concrete work (not level and footprints in the finish floor)
I had to saw, clean and seal the concrete myselfThe only other work done after the concrete was poured on November 6, 2013 was some sheeting was put up on November 14, 2013. On November 20, 2013, I came home to find the remaining sheeting was gone and I haven’t seen or heard from Diralast since. I have checked the internet recently and have found similar complaints posted by other customers in October and November of 2013 and early 2014.

Do not hire!! I hired them and they took my money, shut their phones off, Rick Dirr took off never to be seen again. Now there sign is gone infront of there business. They sent a painter in that was not qualified and did not finish anything and then said he wasn't allowed to come back and stated they were just swindeling me. I never got the work done I signed a contract with them for. Now I am 3900.00 short and no one will fix my house now because I don't have enough to do anything. They are crooks..And I will see them in court

I hired Diralast to gut and rebuild my house, they would only work one or two days a week. I would call them to ask what the hold ups were and they would always make up some excuse, then tell me there would be a whole crew there tomorrow. Tomorrow would come and I'd be lucky if one person would show up for a couple of hours. In the seventh week I was promised that some one would be working at my house every day till it got down. Tuesday of that week no one shows up. I leave a message with Corey to call me. When he does he's drunk at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, He also threatened to punch me.
I Googled him, and found out a lot about him. I suggest you do the same.
I fired him that day.
I would never recommend them, the didn't work on my house more days than they did. I couldn't get receipts out of him to know how much money he spent on my house.
I Googled him, and found out a lot about him. I suggest you do the same. You'll find out why he wasn't available to work for 10 days. -

Diralast Roofing and Siding has exceptional customer service! I would highly recommend them to anyone! The owner Corey Dirr has outstanding workmanship and is very dedicated to his customers! Yeah you might see some negative things about Corey Dirr when you google him but everyone has problems outside of work which we have no right to judge that person on. Diralast is an outstanding company and the bbb proves that! Good job Diralast on your outstanding work on my house, I would recommend this company to anyone!

DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR !!!
They quality of the work is very poor. The quality of the hired help is even worse. They do not return phone calls and will not stand behind their work. It took a lot of arm twisting to get the work completed to an acceptable level and I still refused to pay the full amount. Google the owner (Corey Dirr) and you will find more information.
Save your money and do not hire them.

Changed their name to Bizy Bee's Home Services, Dewey, Oklahoma DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CROOKS AND SCAMMERS. I HIRED THEM TO ADD ADDITIONS TO MY HOME AND THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND HAVENT DONE THE WORK. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 2 1/2 MONTHS, THE WORK THEY HAVE DONE ISABOUT THE WORST YOU CAN IMAGINE. THEY TORE OUT MY WALLS AND LEFT MY HOUSE OPEN TO THE WEATHER SO NOW MY FLOORS ARE BOWED AND BLACK MOLD IS GROWING. THE SUPPORT BEAMS OUTSIDE ON ADDITIONS ARE BOWED, FLOORING OUTSIDE IS MOLDED, THE FRAME ISNT SQUARE WITH THE HOUSE, THEY USED SHEETROCK SCREWS IN CONCRETE PEIRS TO ATTACH TO SUPPORT BEAMS, THEY TORE UP MY STEEL SIDING, LEFT ALL THE TRASH ON ADDITIONS AND IN MY YARD. ONE SUPPORT BEAM IS ONLY ATTACHED TO MIDDLE OF FLOOR JOISTS (NOT SUPPORTING ANYTHING). BE SURE AND GOOGLE THEM IN OHIO, HAVE DONE THE SAME THING TO OTHERS. THEY CHANGE THE NAME OF THEIR BUSINESS AND MOVE ELSEWHERE
