We had them install the model 400 cedar fence . Fence was delivered missing horizontal rails on each of the 13 panels and missing the top rail cap on each of 8 panels. They obtained enough material to fix one side of the 13 panels but never bothered to correct the other side of the 13 panels or fix the top rail cap on the other 8 panels. i have been calling them, on a regular basis for over two weeks. Every time i call I speak to a different person and have to explain who i am and what the issues are despite the fact that on the first call they asked me to send pictures with the details which i did. That was weeks ago. Customer service is always pleasant but perpetuates the problem, promising that someone will be onsite (today, tomorrow, this week). Today, I was promised multiple times that someone would be coming to my home - no one ever showed up. No call! No Apology! They just don't care! Looking at other reviews this is a recurring problem.
My recommendation to anyone looking to hire them would be DON'T! Find a professional company that cares about you the customer, and stands behind their product and their workmanship.

Chris S. is a scammer. He quoted my husband one rate in November for a white vinyl fence - never told him it was a "winter special". His colleague, Eugenio, posts on facebook for a rate that was significantly less than his quote so my husband reached back out and asked if he would offer the same pricing. Lo and behold he arrives today (now March, after not showing up 2x before) and quotes me, a female a price that was $2K more - saying cost of materials has gone up and the original quote was a winter special! Really!! Why would you waste my time when the conversation and context was to negotiate something lower? Was it because I was female, was it because I was brown? Any way you slice and dice this situation it equates to PURE SHADINESS! If you have to put an MBA as your post script...means most likely you got your degree from a cracker jack box, CHRIS S. I will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau. Makes me livid when men think women are stupid and try to take advantage of us.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE they do not answer phone calls or return messages, or emails. We hired them end of may once our deposit was in the responses became non existent on their end. They installed on 8/14/17 but forgot the chain link portion of our project, told us they would be back the next day and we have not seen or heard from them since. We've called and left messages, and emails. Finally we received an email back saying they were looking into it and they'd let us know, a week goes by we hear nothing, we email again, they say the same thing, so we STILL have no idea whats going on or when we will receive our fence over two weeks later

Purchase a white solid privacy bottom with straight spindle top vinyl fence salesman was very helpful on the phone we called them about 20 times with questions and revised estimate a bunch but sales person was super patient and helpful. Delivery came on their own truck which was great driver called me when outside super awesome product and I would recommend them to anyone

I ordered my fence online and they told me it would ship in 5-7 days...... well it took 35 days and when it was delivered some of it was damaged and some of it was missing. 3 months later the damaged/missing parts have still not been received. they are very responsive and helpful until they get your money then they never take a call, return a call or respond to emails. I call them everyday and all the girls says is Rod n Chris are not in but it has been shipped. Do not buy from this company you will be sorry!

I've had the same experience as the person who wrote the previous review. I purchased a fence through Lowe's with Direct Fence as the installer. They initially scheduled the install for Saturday 6/17 (5 weeks after I purchased it), and called two days before to cancel, with no explanation provided. The rescheduled install date was for today 6/22. I even spoke with the company rep this morning confirming had delivered the materials. I get home from work and guess what? No work had been done, the materials are still sitting in my driveway untouched. And of course the office person leaves for the day at 4pm! Great customer service! Still waiting for my already paid for fence to be installed!

I wouldn't even give this company one star but that's the only way to write a review. I gave them two other referrals along with myself they are scamersim, Rod and Chris will not answer anyones phone calls. To start they didn't even start my house and took almost $4,000 out of my account when I called them they said they would refund the money and never did I had to place a claim on them. Second they started at one of the referrals I have them and took 3,700 and don't even seem to want to finish won't answer anyone's calls or won't tell anyone when they will finish. The third persons Fence same issue. Please be very careful with these scamers they will take your money and never call back or even answer! Waiting for my lawyer to get down to this now!

Many phone calls were required to schedule the fence installation. Once the installation was scheduled the crew showed up late. The installation went on until 11PM at night. We had to provide lights so the installers could see. After measuring the installation to what was bought, one corner of the fence was off by 4 feet. We contacted lowes and Direct fence about the issue and to date have been ignored.
