Hiring Angel Sanchez with Distinctive Flatwork Concrete to pour a concrete patio was a big mistake. The concrete was overworked leaving discoloration and several pockmarks. He failed to properly lay rebar or mesh. He buried his wood ramp into the concrete. He sloped the concrete wrong and water funneled directly into our garage.
He left a wheelbarrow full of concrete and forms with exposed screws in our driveway for over 5 weeks. He never kept his word to come and clean it up so we did it ourselves.
Six weeks passed, new bid was submitted to his insurance company but Mr. Sanchez would not pay his deductible so we opted to let him redo the patio. After he removed the old concrete, he made a huge mistake we could not overlook and we informed him not to return to our property.
Last week, we received a notice of lien on our property because Mr. Sanchez did not pay the rental company.
