We hired Neil Morton to complete a job at a trailer park my mother owns in Warren, Ohio in March of 2024. We paid a deposit and then found ourselves in a situation where we had a tenant who was moving in the next day, and Neil said he needed final payment immediately to complete the job by the following day, so we made the final payment.
Neil said that he would be complete the job the following day, which turned into the following week, the following month, and as I am writing this it is almost 4 months later and NOTHING. He eventually said that he would return the money, but that was a month ago, and I have nothing. Nothing done, nothing scheduled, and no money returned.
We finally filed a small claims case against him today to get the almost $5,000 back through civil means. If you like your money, I would NOT use Neil Morton. He comes off as very sweet and admirable but is obviously a crook and horrible person.
