I put out a bid to three companies to set up the electrical components to my inground pool. This included grounding the pool and setting up all the pumps and lights from my pool to the control panel. Dixieland Forest Corp stated that they have experience setting up pool panels. I purchased a control panel that would put my pumps on an automatic timer making my pool a little less work on myself. Dixieland set up everything and when they set up the control panel they told me back in 2015 that the panel WOULD NOT allow them to set up both pumps on a timer. This stuck with me as I didn't understand why this panel wouldn't allow this but when a certified electrician would shaved the panel open tells me the is the case I believe him. This was a mistake!!! Fast forward to 2023, a pool company came to my house to fix an issue and when he started the control panel to test his work he asked why the 2nd pump to my spa wasn't set to the automatic timer. I told him what Dixieland told me. This was not true and that they could set this up. I tried to work this out with Dixieland. I called them and told them the issue. They keep referring that I only have a one year warranty. I told them that this is not warranty issue. I paid for a full electrical hook up that they didn't do back in 2015. I was led under false content that the panel was the problem. A company that states they are experienced setting up pools should know how to hook up a Pentair panel. The admin answering the phone was rude and hung up on me. The only time she sounded happy was to call and tell me that they would charge me a $75 service fee and a $150 per our charge to fix it. I was disappointed that they collected on a job, even though it was 2015, they mislead me. If they knew what they were doing this would have been done in 2015. I am sick of not being able to trust companies. I trusted them and they are treating me like this. BE aware that they are not able to do pool work. They only want commercial jobs!!
