We originally contacted the company in June. The owner, Daryl Krum, came and measured the area. He then emailed us an estimate which we promptly accepted and emailed.
He advised us the work would need to be done on a weekend because of their backlog of larger jobs. We said that would be ok.
On June 24th, we received a phone call from Whitney, telling us the job would be done on Saturday, June 29th.
The crew did not arrive until nearly 10AM which was not good because Daryl had advised us the installation would need a 4 hour period to insure there would be no problems with rain. The weather forecast indicated that we would have storms around noon.
The crew unloaded the materials only for us to find out they had the wrong color. They said that the warehouse was locked, so they would be unable to pickup the right materials.
They then indicated that the would not be able to do the work on July 6th because it was the 4th of July weekend, even tho the 4th was on Thursday. They also indicated they would not be able to do it the following weekend because it was someone's birthday party.
We made numerous calls to the company and never received a response from the owner. We kept calling periodically over the next 6 months. About 1 week ago, we decided to call everyday. Spoke with Whitney and she said she would leave Daryl a note. Finally today when we called, she said he wrote on the note that they were no longer interested in doing the work.
