    Replace Water Heater
    $1,600

Can't recommend highly enough. We contracted DKH through our warranty service to replace our water heater. The work was top notch, they showed up on time and prepared, and executed everything to plan. When critical decisions came up, they were proactive in contacting me to make sure what they were doing was within expected scope instead of just plowing ahead. Their pricing quote was extremely fair, and they were friendly and personable. A fantastic experience from top to bottom and I would recommend them to anyone else in my community without hesitation.

fix a leaking water heater recycle pump and a broken garbage disposal
    $200

These guys were great! Father and son...totally helpful, informative, knowledgeable, professional, efficient and friendly. We were extremely pleased with their service. They repaired the hot water recycling pump and replaced a broken garbage disposal. They worked quickly, leaving both work areas clean and in order. We highly recommend DKH Plumbing.

water leak, sent by First American Home Buyers Warranty
    $75

I had a pipe that started leaking behind a wall. There was no water on the wall, in the garage, but water started to leak down by the concrete floor in the garage. DKH plumbing was sent out from the First American Home Warranty, and they cut a huge 3' by 5' hole in my wall. The pipe was rusted, so the claim was denied ("existing damage"). How can a pipe hidden behind a wall not be covered. The guy who came out did not offer to repair the damage he made to my wall, and he said the pipe was a water pipe and their company could not even repair it out of the warranty. The pipe was actually an air pipe going up through the roof. I had to pay to repair the pipe along with the wall damage from DKH. DKH continued asking for payment of $75 for their service and sent the bill to collections. I will not use this company.
*Crystal Blue Plumbing, in Loomis, has since been to my home for a water heater and did a thorough job. They are polite and professional and contact you through email and text. Use them!
Even though I had to pay to have the drywall repaired from DKH Plumbing, the Home Warranty company still insisted I pay their $75 service fee. As you can see from the numerous ratings of 1, this company will steal your money. The previous year the ac went out and was also not repaired.

    Water heater replacement

My Mother, who is 72 years old and widowed, had her water heater go out the other day--leaking water from the bottom of the tank. She called her home warranty company, First American Home Warranty, to file a claim. They referred her to DKH Plumbing--what a huge mistake that turned out to be. Now, I was prepared to write a complete decertation as to the many things wrong with DKH Plumbing--really poor customer service, lack of professionalism, empathy, additional add-on charges to the tune of over $600 additional dollars spent on incidentals, etc. But, after further reflection, I'll just spare those of you, who are inclined to read this, the redundant details that many of you have already touched upon. Needless to say, listen to those who have given the many one-star ratings before this and choose another plumbing company for all your plumbing needs. Your sanity depends on it.

First American handled this challenge with my water heater and assigned DKH Plumbing on Sunday. I had no hot water and Damon arrived a half hour early on Tuesday. He assessed the issue and replaced the pilot assembly. Within an hour I had hot water!! He was very friendly and was very patient with my many questions regarding how it all works.

My only reason I rated it 4 was the lack of follow up and response to my phone messages.

    Garbage Disposal diagnose and replaced
    $75

Called American Home Shield to have the Garbage Disposal fixed, and they give me few Plumbing Companies in Rocklin or around, and i choose DKH Plumbing. From the time American Home Shield setup the work order, DKH Plumbing called me within 1 hour and i told them what the problem was and also give them the model number and brand of the Garbage disposal and also motor size, and then appointment was setup for Monday as it was a Friday at the time of opening the work order with American Home Shield.
DKH came on Monday at the exact appointment set and the technician Brad was really nice guy and within an hour he diagnose the replaced the garbage disposal with a new one. Is been a week and looks that everything is good and works. I will recommend this Plumbing company to all.

    Thanks,

water heater and water turn off

DHK Plumbing was sent by my landlord's home warranty.... The technician that was sent was incompetent. Spent time trouble shooting the issue with someone over the phone. Technician did NOT show up on time (2 hours+ the scheduled time). If your warranty company sends this company, ask for another one. Issue with our plumbing is still NOT resolved. Our landlord is still dealing with them and I give my landlord kudos for being patient with this company.

  • May 9, 2018

DKH Plumbing was sent by our home warranty to work on our plumbing issue. Not only that they showed up 2 hours after the scheduled time. The technician seemed incompetent. Will definitely let my home warranty know that they should not be hiring this company.

Fix a leak under my kitchen sink

I am extremely happy with DKH Plumbing. I called my home warranty company yesterday (a Sunday) to report about a slow leak under my kitchen sink. They said a plumber would be calling me, and DKH Plumbing called me about 20 minutes later. The plumber said they would be out the next morning (Monday ) after they got a part from their supplier. Early this morning their office called to say DKH would be out by noon. The plumber came about an hour or 2 later. He promptly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I was very pleased with their servicel. Remember that if you complain about a part not being covered, that’s the responsibility of the home warranty company and NOT the plumber. The plumber can only do what he’s contracted to do by the home warranty company. I would call DKH even if I didn’t have a home warranty, because they are very reliable, professional and honest.

    hot water heater

Not happy. My warranty company sent them out to replace my water heater. There were original issues as far as professionalism and timeliness. I tried to give them a chance. 60 days later my hot water is STILL spitting when turned on. I contacted the organization and spoke with Monica because the issue is a result of a the organization replacement of a part as suggested by the warranty company. After further research and now having to pay someone else I am NOT happy. I would not recommend using them unless you are willing to pay someone else if there is a mistake. Not professional or willing to correct their mistake.

    Water heater replacement
    $350

So far, so bad. This company was contracted by my home warranty company and so far their service has been the worst. They came out to check our water heater on Friday, we were told the report would go in right away since we can't use our water heater anymore. The report did not go in until after 5pm on Monday. I called them again this morning to try and get scheduled and they said they would call me back. I still haven't heard anything. Their office staff seems lazy and uncaring that my family (with two small children) has been without hot water in our house for 5 days now. Don't waste your time with this company. I certainly will make sure my warranty company sends someone else out next time.

Brian was very courteous. He called prior to coming out to make sure I was there before he showed up. Gave me plenty of heads up. Super nice guy. Knew exactly what the problem was and was in and out in less than 20 minutes.

    leaking water heater
    $75

If I could give this company a minus star I would. It took 3 days for them to come out for a serious leak in water heater. I had to shut water off and was without water in the house. When tech came out he seemed puzzled as to what was leaking. It was obvious that the expansion tank was spuwing water. He also could not tell me what that tank was for. Now, I have no hot water at all and they do not answer their phone. First American Home Warranty needs to contract with a new plumber

    Water Heater

Our experience with DKH Plumbing was amazing! I am surprised by all of these other reviews. We had the father and son (owners) out at our home and were surprised by their professionalism and so happy that our warranty company sent them out because we've had other contractors in the past that were horrendous. We will definitely be requesting them again in the future for any/all of our plumbing needs. The dispatch was just as friendly and professional and got us scheduled in a timely manner.

    fix kitchen faucet

My home warranty company sent DKH Plumbing out to fix a kitchen faucet. The technician told me what was wrong with the faucet and said that he would contact American Home Shield and get approval. I called DKH Plumbing the next day to request an update. The dispatcher told me that they were waiting on a response from American Home Shield. I asked her directly if they had actually contacted the warranty company and she stated that they had sent in a report. I called American Home Shield after getting off the phone and it was confirmed that the dispatcher was dishonest. American Home Shield did not receive any report or request for authorization to make repairs. I would not recommend this company, If the staff is dishonest about sending in a request fro authorization, then what else would they be dishonest about?

    check leak from toilet
    $0

My home warranty company sent out D K H Plumbing. Not only did they show up at 5:30pm for an appointment that was supposed to be from 1-4, but the plumber seemed very incompetent. It is obvious that I have a leak on the ceiling below a bathroom toilet but he said it could be the rubber seal or flange but didn't seem like either because my toilet would be wobbly and I would see water seeping through the caulking on the floor of the toilet. He said that I should get a dry wall person to open up the ceiling to check where the leak was from. Hmmm......I am not a plumber but none of this made sense to me. I asked if this was his house what would he do and he said he would pull the toilet. So my thought is why are you not doing that? After 30 minutes of giving me the runaround and making no logical sense as he didn't seem to know or deal with the problem, he eventually said that he could pull up my toilet to check the seals but he didn't think that was the problem. At that time it was after 6:00 and I said that we can try to reschedule. He left and had me sign a paper saying that my toilet wasn't leaking. I would not recommend this company.

DKH Plumbing was assigned my contract from First American Home Warranty when my hot water heater stopped working. After waiting 3 days to be contacted, tried contacting them 4 times, nothing. I would not recommend this company for anything and their customer service is terrible.
