Great service by the owner David Johnson. I would advise everyone to get their Chimneys Done Rite By David and his crew.

DNG called us and offered a chimney cleaning which I gladly obliged because I burned my wood stove pretty heavily all winter long. When they came out to clean my wood stove chimney they were completely distracted with the task at hand. All they kept talking about was my oil chimney. I repeatedly told them they were here only to clean the wood stove chimney and that they need not worry about the oil chimney because the oil company does it. He kept insisting so I just said go ahead and look at it but don't clean it. They came up less than a minute later and said how bad the chimney was and that I needed to have a liner put in otherwise I could die of carbon monoxide poisoning. Even though I highly doubted the death threats I did take into consideration that my wood stove chimney had to have a liner installed because the draft was poor. They told me it would be $3,800 and that it would take them a few hours. I knew they were highballing me by a long shot because i had already had a liner installed in my wood stove chimney and told them listen, ill give you $2000 take it or leave it. i only offered that because I did look at the liner and it was what I THOUGHT was a good liner because it wasn't corrugated like my wood stove one but smooth on the inside. So after a quick phone call to the office, magically a price of almost half what they originally wanted was ok. The liner was installed and done and they packed everything up AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN CLEAN OUT MY WOODSTOVE CHIMNEY!! When I reminded them they told me they had another "emergency to get to" and had to get going but would return to clean it for FREE. Well we all know that didn't happen, they didnt show up 4 times. Thankfully it was the end of the season and i was disgusted so I said forget it till the season comes back around. So now fall comes around and it's getting cold and I got a phone call from another company to come out and do a yearly cleaning. It wasnt DNG so I said yes. DNG will never be allowed back in my home. When they came to the house they were focused and on task and performed a very thorough cleaning. When they were all done and they were packing up they said how rough the oil chimney looked. I asked him what he meant and he went up and took pictures and showed me how the cap was being held on by just a little bit of silicone in one corner and the plate thing that holds the liner up DIDN'T EVEN HAVE SCREWS IN IT! I asked them to take the cap off and look down in it and when they did they took pictures down and the entire thing was COMPLETELY RUSTED OUT!! They went down and checked where it connected to the furnace and it wasnt even tightened! They offered and tried to tighten the connection but because of almost a year of furnace soot the screw wouldnt turn. The guys took a magnet to it up top and it wasn't even stainless steel because the magnet was sticking to the metal. I asked them if they could send me the pictures to contact DNG in which they did. DNG made 3 appointments to come out and never showed up. I called back the other company which I want everyone to know was A SWEEP ABOVE MAINTENANCE out of LEBANON PA. They came out and replaced the liner for CHEAPER than DNG put in an actual stainless steel liner. The job was done beautiful. They sent me pictures of everything that was done up on the roof and even re cemented the whole top part of the chimney because otherwise the cap would not be too sturdy and they didn't charge me for it. Before they left I asked if they knew any way to get these guys to answer me and they actually helped me by contacting the ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE and requesting a complaint form from the CONSUMER COMPLAINTS DEPT. I filled out the complaint form and included all the invoices from both companies especially the one from A SWEEP ABOVE describing everything that was done wrong and also sent them all the pictures. The attorney general got back to me right away within a couple weeks and now we are waiting on DNG to respond. I'm certain it will be nothing but lies. These people are ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! IF YOU HAVE ANY CHIMNEY NEEDS CONTACT A SWEEP ABOVE MAINTENANCE AT 1 (866) 236 2747!! They carry badges and provide customers with their physical license and insurance right on the spot. They are the ONLY ones I trust!

This company is neither reliable nor ethical. They performed questionable and overpriced "repairs" to our chimney. (My fault for being trusting.) They then promised to return and install a fire trap door, which had been paid for. Five missed appointments later, no door and a promise to refund the $ for the door unmet. Very unsatisfactory experience.

They came out to clean my furnace and chimney. A father and son team showed up and said we needed a new liner and to install it would be done in 3 hours and cost $3700.00 if we paid in cash/check but if with Credit they would need 6% for sales tax and an additional 3% for running the card. We told them we're not able to pay that upfront and he gave us several rebates (Veteran, AARP, and Emergency repair) which brought it down to $1,850. We have a toddler in our house so we were scared about carbon monoxide so we had them do the work and gave them a check. They failed to clean out my furnace and 3 weeks later bc of all the debre from their "chimney clean out" got pushed down into the boiler now I have to pay $6,700 to replace the furnace AND they didnt even install the liner correcly! I'm contacting the BBB

I hired people in this company in August and father and son team showed up to do the job of installing stainless steel chimney liner.
They charged me $1650.for this job.
What I could not understand is he tried to get from me extra $3000 for the job he needed to do first place.
Only 10 minute job for $3000 extra?
When I refused to pay $3000, he asked me to give him $50 cash.
I ended up giving him $50 check but according to a lady who works for this company he could not cash $50 check.
I don't know if she is telling me truth or not but I can check with bank to find out.
The stainless steal liner is supposedly life time guarantee but I never got warranty statement yet..

Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
My elderly parents hired them to "Clean their Chimney", for $60.00 Well low and behold their employees are THIEVES. They stole $400 from the residents. My father had to write a check to the employee (in his name) to get them out of his house. They initially wanted $3100 for work that was not needed. Now my father being 80 years old and partially disabled wrote the check to get them to leave his home. The employees ran to the bank and cashed the check. The homeowners called the police and made a report and contacted the BBB...and DnG have been lying to the homeowners regarding sending back their money. They have no intention of returning the money! The homeowners have been trying for over a month to have the money returned. They just lie lie lie....
THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS....BEWARE.......They are a disgrace!

Needed a new liner and they gave me the best quote. Did the work when promised and cleaned up after themselves. Great job, well done.

Do not use. The operator that answers the phone "George" can't handle simple directions. I asked them twice to use my cell phone and they continued to call the wrong number. They made two appointments that they never showed up for. Complete waste of my time. That's what I get for saying yes to their cold call "deal" to clean the chimney...

I had them come do an inspection in my house and cleaning. They quoted me 99 dollars to honor the groupon deal. They knew I needed the inspection for a township inspection. I shouldn't have told them I was in a rush. I trusted the lady on the phone, her name is Debbie. She seemed very nice and I was desperate to get the inspection done. Once the technician was over, my realtor was there to receive him. He called me to tell me everything looked good with the chimney BUT...I needed to have two services done, plus remove an old antenna that wasn't in use. First the cement crown needed to be repaired. Second they needed to treat the chimney with TSR. He quoted me almost 1000 dollars for this. Then said he would give me a discount on the antenna removal that they normally charge 100 dollars! He would give me that for "free". I questioned that amount and he said "well, feel free to shop around but you need this inspection certificate for the township so I'd do it". Yes, I was desperate as my home sale was pending that. I went for it. 824,00. I knew something was fishy so the next day I called other companies referred by the township and surprise surprise: quoted half the price and who charges to remove an old antenna?? Nothing there was "free". He completely ripped me off. The next day I got my buyer's inspection report which included the chimney. He had performed it two days before these scammers went to my house. Guess what? Chimney was in great condition. No issues found. Of course it wasn't the level 2 inspection, but I'm pretty sure one doesn't need deep cameras to see a broken crown. Anyway. I called them to question. Debbie, the nice lady whom I so naively trusted, became a monster! Defensive, dismissive. Hung up the phone on me after saying she would talk to the owner. I told her I needed an explanation by the end of the day and she said "well, you should have questioned the price before you agreed to it". And of course, neither her nor the owner ever called me back about it. I reported them to groupon, since they use them only to get people to call, then tell you not to buy it and that they would honor their price. What I did not tell Debbie, however, is that she had spoken with me a month prior and she had quoted me 199 dollars for the same service that she then charged 99! I'm telling you. SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY.
