Mr Dobbels came when Texas got to -5 and everything was frozen. He redid the piping under my house, gave me the bill and waited patiently until my insurance settled for payment. I am very pleased with the plumbing he did, would call him again for any plumbing needs.

The above review really surprised me. I have used this plumber and staff for 4 years on many projects from kitchen sink, disposal and water filtration system installation to fixing two toilets with cracked flanges. He put newer stronger toilet flanges in and filled with concrete the gaps previous plumbers have left in my floor. He came out promptly when I had a water leak emergency from a carpenter hitting a water line and flooding my kitchen. Welded new pipe and no problem since. His quotes are reasonable and always same as he quoted when job is done. He shows up on time, always calls ahead and works quickly and leaves no mess. Only plumber I’ll use from now on. Great service, professional and courteous.

Honestly, I'm in shock at how poor the service was, and I had such high expectations. My home is new construction and Dobbels Plumbing was the plumbing subcontractor. Things started well, nice work for the in slab rough-in part, and we provided a list of fixtures so they could quote them. Then as things progressed and the house continued to be built, things started downhill. It started with a difference of opinion on what type of water heaters were being installed. We wanted gas, the guys doing the install said they were putting in electric. Wrong answer, I pay the bills. Then there were concerns about how the hot water circulation system was being plumbed (and sadly, we were right, it doesn't work as we specified). Finally the day arrives for them to install everything, but none of the fixtures are here (remember those fixtures I mentioned before that we were supposed to get a quote on? Yeah, those, we STILL don't have a price on them and they have been installed!), no water valves, no drain material, nothing. An argument (yes, a real argument) ensues and we are told that they will be out the following Monday to do everything and they only want to make 1 or 2 trips and get it all done. Meanwhile they had started to install the fixtures in my shop bath and got so mad they just left... with sewer gas venting into the enclosed (and climate controlled) shop holding all of our possessions.
Well, 3 months later, countless trips, it still isn't done! Faucets were installed in the wrong locations. Toilets put in the wrong bathrooms. One faucet they installed they didn't even bother to tighten the handles. The best part, they came back to the shop and put some electrical tape over the sewer lines, it still smells like sewer gas in the shop. And meanwhile, they have been asking for payment on the fixtures!
