    2 French drains - Curtain drain - culvert pipe - septic system
    $50,000

    I have had 5 jobs done by Don at Dodge excavation. 3 drains systems, culvert pipe, and a completely new septic system. My experience has been the opposite. Don is a nice guy but our experience has zero eye for detail. And then always says this is what the customer wanted. I will take the biggest part of the blame as we should have asked more questions. So I will say if you do use Dodge Excavation I would suggest the following:
    1- Get a written estimate that includes what materials will be used and how it will be constructed. One of our french drains did not have any gravel above it and very little below it. We have now 3 different types of grass and major tractor damage to the back yard and our driveway.
    2- You will need to watch and verify all parts of operations. Just to verify that the job is being done as it is written.

    As for when I mean "Eye for Detail" you need to communicate with Don what everything will look like afterwards.

    We paid 32,000 for a new septic system and the control box was mounted to the side of the house and we get to hear a clunk every time it goes off. To correct this I would have needed to pay Don's electrical buddy another 500 dollars to put I on a post.

    I will never use them again or recommend them. Don is a very nice guy just sloppy. I gave them 2 stars minimum as when we had flooding he was the only one to respond.

    Awesome. They were on time and got right in and started work. They definitely knew what they were doing. It was all leveled and fill dirt & top soil added and then on half it was filled with gravel. I am so happy with what they were able to do. They also cleaned up and that is so important to me. I would recommended them to others and will. A very satisfied customer.
