I’m a landlord and my tenants reported that their bathtub spout was leaking. I called Bob from Does It All Fix & Install and he confirmed that he was a licensed plumber and could make the repair. He changed the cartridge in the handle and charged $295 for the job. The tenants began using the shower the next day and reported that the shower handle did not shut off completely and became loose and fell off. When I notified Bob that the tenants had trouble the very next day, Bob said he would charge me an additional $65 for a helper to come too. “I have to pay my people for their time.”
I did not schedule another appointment with Bob because he said more money was needed to fix the job. I realized this was adding insult to injury. I was not satisfied with the job performance considering the high fee charged for the job, the amount of time spent and the quality of the work. I had to hire another plumber to fix the job at an additional expense.
I reached out to Bob to refund me $100 since he did not satisfactorily complete the job on his own and he refused. Since no action was taken to rectify the situation, I’m posting this negative review on social media about his poor job performance.
