Do not hire Dominguez Roofing for any type of job. The shotty work is unbelievable. We hired Brandon Dominguez to replace the roof, the face boards around the house and the soffits. Half way through the job they decided that not all the face boards needed to be replaced and none of the soffits. We had to argue with them about how half of the soffits were rotten and too old. They tried to get around replacing soffits that you could literally shove your finger through. Only about 4 of the face boards were actually replaced and were they did replace them they pieced together smaller pieces instead of using the proper size boards to match the rest of the face boards. One of the new face boards they put up was cracked in 3 places in the process of them putting it up and they still left it up there. The caulking job done was the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life, it looked like a 5 year old squeezed half of the tube of the face boards and smeared it around and played patty cake in it. When brought to his attention Brandon said that the excess caulk would be scrapped off and smoothed out. They did not and just painted over it. The siding over the garage was replaced by them as well and they didn’t even line the siding up they left multiple gaps all throughout it. Before painting they were suppose to chip off all of the old peeling paint, they didn’t... they just painted over it. This work was done on my grandmothers home and after we told them what needed to be fixed from their awful work like the caulking, and mismatched face boards, and split face boards, and not removing all of the old paint they told us that it would be fixed before painting. And I quote “I’m going to do the house as if it was my mothers” -Brandon. So we left and we’re out of town while they finished up and we’re suppose to be fixing all of their messed up work. When we got back they had painted everything, not fixed a single thing and gotten the last check from my grandmother. Whatever you do hire someone else for your roofing and house work, Dominguez roofing will just tell you abunch of BS to make you think things are being done right and will be fixed and collect the check and run.
