Fitzpatrick Donald
Donald Fitzpatrick dud a nice job on both the upstairs and downstairs floors. However, while refinishing the kitchen floor, he broke the knob and shaft off the left burner on the stove. The stove cannot be fixed and only 2.5 burners are working. Donald Fitzpatrick was aware of the issue. He did not make any attempt to discuss and I tried for a month to contact him regarding the broken stove. It was only after I texted and mentioned contacting my insurance company did he respond immediately. I tried to gave the stove fixed by two different repair services but to no avail. I contacted Donald Fitzpatrick and explained the situation again. He stated he would call his insurance company and get back to be. Unfortunately, he did not keep his word. I contacted my insurance company and had to file a claim on the home owners insurance. He did tell me he had Farm Insurance. Unfortunately, Farm Insurance, State Farm or Farmers Insurance do not gave him registered as a contractor with liability insurance. Although his business card states fully insured and bonded, it appears that is not the case. In addition, he covered the kitchen cabinets with plastic, which was very much appreciated, and taped the plastic to the ceiling. When he removed the tape, he pulled the paint off the ceiling in several different places. I have not heard from Donald Fitzpatrick, which brings to light the issue of integrity and ethics, which appears to be lacking, evidenced by his lack of response and caring. I would not recommend Donald Fitzpatrick for any future jobs.
