    Remodel and old house and convert into a duplex

    We hired Donny to remodel a old house and convert it into a duplex. Worst mistake of my life!! He hired all his employees and subcontractors under the table. One of his employee had to leave the property when a building inspector was coming by. Said they didn't like him. When ever Donny would show up at the sight (which was VERY seldom) he would sit in his truck smoking cigarettes (which he left all over the property) and talking on his phone. He's a plumber by trade but forgot to connect drainage pipes to the downstairs bathroom shower (was discovered by move in tenant). The master bedroom in the new unit windows are not straight and you can not close them all the way. when we had the master bath shower door installed,they told us the wall was leaning( a lot) and they would try to make the sliding door work (looks BAD). He over ordered materials and the excess would just disappear. I could go on & on. (not putting any cable jacks in the new unit upstairs, Did not put any the proper outlets in the remodel,did not secure dishwasher, just slid it in,etc.etc). My father was a contractor and my husband was a building inspector for the City of Wilsonville (retired) and they both strongly believe he should have his license taking away. We are working on that.
