    We would definitely review this contractor to others. From the initial concept of our plan, this contractor has been a tremendous boon to our project. They have helped with every aspect and handled large magnitude problems with a positive outlook and end result. They have overcome some major obstacles and accomplished things that took ingenuity, hard work, and determination. They continually attempted to keep the project, high quality and inside budget. We are hoping to work with them in the future.

    I will give my experience and let you be the judge. We hired Donohoe construction to build a garage with bonus room in May 2016. Construction was started August 2016 and as of today it is not done and what is complete has been done completely wrong per the city inspector. We have no headers above windows and doors. The main garage door header is completely wrong. They came back to "correct" their mistakes and none of them have been corrected and some were not even attempted to be corrected. The city inspector left a 15 item list of items done completely wrong. All 15 are still wrong. We have now had 2 other contractors look at what's been done and have made comments of how shocked they are that this is what has been done. We have already put 10K into this incomplete and incorrect project and it will now cost us at least that to get these mistakes corrected and the project completed. This was a basic garage with a roughed in bonus room only. There was never plans to do insulation or Sheetrock. This was only framing, siding and roofing and we run the risk of it all coming down due to the magnitude of these mistakes. We have had issues with them showing up to work, and completing work. We feel completely take advantage of. As of yesterday they packed up all tools and we are left with this disaster to try to rebuild. We are devastated and are completely financially ruined. This has been our experience with this company. I hope if you chose to do business with them yours goes differently. Best of luck, we are left with a money pit.
