    Fix leak in roof

I wouldn't recommend Mr. Dorsey to work on a dog house. I hired this fraud to repair a leak in my roof. The roof still leaks after two attempts to fix it. And now he refuses to take my calls as he did with other clients.. Mr. Dorsey introduced himself as a man of God but it is clear that he words for the devil stealing peoples hard earned money. Before you hire him try DIY you will save some money and might get the project done.

while making the attempt to do this job and had one leak back by the bathroom and the roof was soft and told her that she needs a new roof she told me to just patch it and patch the one spot and later on two days later it started to rain which started to another lake honoring my contract with her I came back and fix the leak but didn't have nothing to do with my contract and upon that it started leaking somewhere else I told her she needs to replace the whole section or she need to put a new roof on which she didn't want to pay for that is not my responsibility all she wanted to do was keep patching

    Window repair

Did did not fix my window as he was supposed to. He replaced the part.that I paid for and now the window does not shut close as it should. Beware of hiring this man. I have tried to reach him all week. No response.

Response from Dorseys General Contractor October 21, 2019
Upon doing this job the window would not close so I replace the hinge that the client made for upon doing that the window open and close but I noticed it was swelling because she had court piece of wood around the window and I told her she need to have it replaced and replace the window because it was a wolf to which she didn't want to replace a whole window so I shut the window and put the hinge in so for her the open the window and everything she probably got it stuck again and that is not my responsibility

    Plaster repair
    $1,800

I wish I had seen the review that was posted in 2016 regarding Paul Dorsey. Paul was polite, and his plaster repair was ok, but for the amount of money he charged for the hours he worked, I feel I was robbed. Some of the areas were not left ready for painting, some of the cracks have already resurfaces. He left my house in a terrible state, he didn't tape off rooms, or sweep up the dust. He didn't bring many of his own supplies such as a ladder and sponge, or anything to protect my floors. He didn't have a plan for his young worker to eat, I ended up feeding him. I'm embarrassed that I didn't do more research.

Response from Dorseys General Contractor October 21, 2019
upon doing this job she did not give me a ladder she gave me a footstool the flooring was covered the dust out on the edge boards and on the railing for me sanding I've mopped and cleaned up everything she told me don't worry about it cuz the floors was getting redone and the walls painted the plaster job was excellent and if you would have complained about the job in the end so if there's a problem with the work you should have told me and you shouldn't have paid me

My experience with this contractor has been horrible. He is a fraud and does very very shoddy work. He was hired to do an addition with a bathroom. The 2x4's were spaced all over the place. 16', 11, 14, etc. He did not even know that you needed to put a window in a bedroom. The exterior wall was not secured properly that it would not hold the roof. When it came to the roof, he did not even know how to install a roof. It was a shingle roof and he put tar and yellow foam underneath the shingles. (found this out after we took off the roof he installed that leaked. He is not a real contractor. Save your money or even spend a little more and go to someone that is reputable and value their business. DO NOT, DO NOT use this contractor.

Response from Dorseys General Contractor October 21, 2019
I'm doing this job she had contractors working over top of each other I think I was the only licensed contractor there she didn't want to get permits or pay for the insurance through City Hall to have the inspector come out she ordered the roof prefab and she had the other contractors put the roof on and then she wanted me to lay the roof on top of these contractors work I was trying to repair everybody else's work and trying to make things fit that is when I decided to quit the job that is not my responsibility to satisfy customer that's all over the place and decisions and have an unskilled workers
