    We had them work on an addition to our house. Adding a new floor.
    Doug Lewis is extremely unprofessional!
    Many mistakes were made and there was no sense of urgency to fix them or empathy towards us especially when one of the mistakes was on the roof which ended up flooding the house and making us move out for months.
    In addition, Doug Lewis does not pay his subcontractors on time, if at all. To a point that one of them took a lean out on our house and threatened to sue if they didn’t get paid. We had to pay them out of our pocket even though we had already paid Doug Lewis for these services. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do the job.

    they took out a load-bearing wall between my dining and living rooms. They actually undertook a pretty major overall renovation of my whole downstairs; removing a wall, moving my water heater to a different part of the house (plus the plumbing/electric work that went along with that), updating wiring, getting the floors done, completely redoing my kitchen (cabinets, countertops, appliances).

    They were good to work with; his on-site guy is Rob and he's really terrific to work with. I honestly didn't have a whole ton of contact with Doug after we worked out what we were doing; most of my contact was with Rob. Doug and Rob both were really responsive, which was nice.

    The only thing I would say - and I point this out woman to woman - is that Doug is an Old School kind of guy. He seemed to feel more comfortable addressing questions to my husband rather than me, which was kind of amusing, don't get me wrong, but I was the primary person to talk to. My husband did nothing besides refer the question to me. It just makes you laugh. Or I guess maybe I snapped at him once too often and he decided to just work with the husband instead! 😊

    So, short version - would I use them again? Yes. They did a good job and it was at a fair price.
