I hired this builder in September of 2014 and he promised to finish the house by June of 2015. We finally took possession of the house on October 31, 2015. We had problems throughout the build getting him to come out and work on the house. We had a cost plus contract and he colluded with his subcontractors and his suppliers to mark up cost above retail. I caught him doing this on several occasions and started getting competitive bids when he gave me enough time to do so. We have had nothing but problems with the house since we moved in and since I withheld final payment and ended up in arbitration, he has provided no warranty work. You will regret hiring this builder. You cannot rely on anything he tells you. He's a very good salesman but a terrible builder.
